Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Franco, i just made the transition into an outdoor outfit, but it's so dang HOT out there—eek!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

this is a cover?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm
Franco Twinkie:

Really! How hot, San Francisco hot?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:11pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Hopey Sockmonkey: my heat-hating sweetie moved from Tel Aviv to Pasadena and finally moved to SF to bask in the glorious fog and chilly winds
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

that was a really close cover
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm
Hopey Sockmonkey:

I do miss the San Francisco weather. Although today in Hollywood it's nice and cool and overcast.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm
Franco Twinkie:

Admittedly, it is unsettling for me to be in San Francisco when it it truly hot, I always think I don't need this crap, this is what I come up here to get away from.
Avatar 1:15pm
Ursula1000:

yeah Sleeper's Louise Wener sounds so much like Debbie Harry
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16pm
Franco Twinkie:

Pasadena is no place to live if you hate hot weather.
  1:17pm
Martinibomb:

I had to live in Pasadena for a summer and it sucked! Hated it - Portland only gets a couple really hot days in the summer
Avatar 1:19pm
Mr Fab:

Hi all, Im awake now! That was a real nice Pretenders cover. (Why was it called “Brass in Pocket,” anyway.)
Avatar 1:19pm
Domenic:

Hi taking a break from outside carpentry work. 90 degrees. Upper 80's. my wife just came down from working at home and said "The Stones did it better" on this Shed Seven.. But I like hearing covers, the originals have been around a long time. Liked Suede!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20pm
Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Mr. Fab: i have wondered, too. Why not "I'm Special?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm
Franco Twinkie:

My place in Pasadena was upstairs with lots of west facing windows. One day I was painting and I felt a little woozy. I looked at the thermometer on my drafting table. It was 108!
Avatar 1:21pm
Ursula1000:

I'd ask Chrissie Hynde but she's a kook

I like the "idea" of hot weather but my reality is wearing tropical threads in the Fall. Growing up in Miami Beach and that sticky feeling of humidity---yuck
Avatar 1:30pm

This was the first version I ever heard, and then when I heard the Neil Young version I was like woah.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm
Franco Twinkie:

I was fifteen when After The Gold Rush came out. I would listen to that song over and over. I had yet to find out how true it was.

Mr Fab:

Dont think i paid any attention to Britpop in the 90s. Portishead was my fave band of the era, but they werent really considered “Britpop,” were they?
Avatar 1:43pm
Linda Lee:

must say, i didn't pay much attention to anything but my own sordid business!
Avatar 1:43pm
