Julie, your drummer disco friday was the last friday of my 2 week staycation. I was doing thorough scrub and mop of the apartment wood floor. And I got the most drunk I've had since I don't remember when. All with your goth day dance party blasting. A memorable afternoon and evening that I blurily recall. Can't even remember if I was hung over the next day. I just remember dancing with the mop.

I think the longest song I've ever djed at a club (it was a post rave chillout room) was Philip Glass' "Akhnaten" opera, clocking in at 3.5 hours. I enjoyed many free drinks and tokes, and didn't have to worry about beat matching or cueing the whole time!

Lol I love Pink Floyd after Syd Barrett, but my favorite era is mostly up to Dark side of the moon. Although “Wish you were here” was a good album, I just feel like music that’s overplayed really diminishes the quality and a lot of their greatest art is overshadowed by capitalist commercial radio that not many people who aren’t big into music know about those albums.
