The Knickerbockers CD anthology on CD and the Best of Metrobeat on LP came out in early ‘89, pretty much the same time. They were the first ones, I think. Then, Surf & Drag Vol 1 the next month or so.

Yes, a few years in. We had them coming pretty rapid fire. All the Trashmen stuff started very early, too. Billy M and Deke D came upstate and helped me sort through the many, many reels.
