Really ended up liking this one show, a Buddhist monk who would give talks about life in general (thankfully subtitled in English). It wasn't so much the message as his voice and demeanor; he was like a Buddhist Mr Rogers.

	♥ 10:41pm coelacanth∅: i once was in chinatown (ny) totally oblivious to the new year which was that day. everything seemed as usual up until a large, loud crowd charged up the street, led by what must've been a 4-person dragon -to do some kind of ritualistic protest dance in front of the store next to the one we were just in. i didn't know my new romantic partner was scared of fireworks until they started exploding in abundance all around us. we were trapped there, taking shelter in the doorway for quite a while. many more puppets appeared and dancing and yelling but apparently it was never meant to be more than a message sent to a shop owner. interesting experience.

Really ended up liking this one show, a Buddhist monk who would give talks about life in general (thankfully subtitled in English). 	♥ 10:41pm coelacanth∅: i once was in chinatown (ny) totally oblivious to the new year which was that day. everything seemed as usual up until a large, loud crowd charged up the street, led by what must've been a 4-person dragon -to do some kind of ritualistic protest dance in front of the store next to the one we were just in. i didn't know my new romantic partner was scared of fireworks until they started exploding in abundance all around us. we were trapped there, taking shelter in the doorway for quite a while. many more puppets appeared and dancing and yelling but apparently it was never meant to be more than a message sent to a shop owner. interesting experience.
