Hi David in London, I'm fine and how are you?

It's 6 AM on Saturday: is it Shrunken Planet or just the tinnitus? :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06am
Jeffrey Davison:

good morning spamoni, David in London, Kevin-san...
Kevin-san: hard to tell, as I have tinnitus, so it could be both!
  6:07am
David in London:

I’m good thanks spamoni. A Saturday with plans to walk across London and just take in unexpected things along the way.

My youngest son David is taking my oldest son Derek on his bachelor's party tonight in Fl. They rented a boat and are going to an island, I just hope it doesn't turn out to be Gilligan's Island!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11am
Kevin-san:

@JD: same... too many Status Quo and Rory Gallagher concerts as a young person, I fear
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12am
Kevin-san:

Good morning, David in London, enjoy your walk. You think Spurs can beat Liverpool later? I'll be watching
  6:18am
David in London:

@spamoni. Oh the joys of youth. Funnily enough my son has his first teenage house party tonight. What could possibly go wrong..? @kevin, come on you Spurs!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18am

spamoni: take a radio!
Kevin-san: too much dancing at Maxwell's, with my head 2 inches from the speakers on the bandstand.

neil: yuk is right, and worse to come...plus, I can't top sun ra and psychic tv! what a great club that was.
  6:41am
David in London:

Jeffrey was five or so years behind you, so I hit the London club scene around ‘84. They were so improvised and jerry-rigged and amateur, it’s what made them so fun and exciting.

Cooh John:

Good morning Jeffrey and fellow planeteers. I had an Aunt Pauline. Kismet or twilight zone? I will be walking in the rain all day and enjoying it. SP is my mood music.

Not really only politically like most places. There is a local investor who has several bars that attract outsiders. The local officials mostly look the other way. Underage drinking, illegal parking,Disorderly conduct, public indecency etc.

it's like up here in the middletown area. a few of the local politicians own a good deal of real estate - zoning and laws are bent and/or enforced around their needs.

It’s so odd how backwards society is becoming. Peekskill is super diverse. It has 4 main cultures. White,Ecuadorian,Black and Guatemalan. Ignorant people place all native Ecuadorian and Guatemalan in the same category. They do not get along. The only similarity they both speak a Latin dialect. They also talk smack about each other.
