vikki v, you are right DJ! a finnish beverage, salmiakkikossu, which is hard liquor with salted liquorice. It was banned during 1990s as it was too popular among Finnish teens as you really do not taste the bitter part of ethanol. It is more like yummy cough syrup (slightly salty not sweet I mean). oh... and some beautifully tasty

mod mokka matti - the hardest part is to explain when eating eating salmiakki you are eating "sweets" that are not only salty instead of sweet but also poisonous when ingested in bigger amounts (well, so is salt also)

Ok, peeps, I'm gonna throw something in about beer. I was a beer snob in my drinking days - couldn't stand Buttwiper or Miller Lite! ha ha! I was a total Guiness or Shiner Bock, Sierra Nevada, Newcastle drinker. Notice all the beers I listed - no new IPA's. That's cause I haven't drank in almost 17 years!
