	9:52pm JakeGould: In the early 1980s I was into Howard Stern on 66 WABC in NYC. Imus was on too. Utterly nobody I knew in JHS liked Imus. Only one person: A classmate that was a very 1980s proto hipster named Anne. Wore a denim jacket filled with patches. She would yell at us about how she met Don Imus once and then would get all hyper and spastic and then would have to be taken to the school nurse. I miss Anne. I don’t miss Imus.

	🌫 ♥ 10:09pm mariano: I was really into Scottish folk music, and my grandfather was a big music nerd like me, so he made me a mixtape, the best part of which was a 1974 Nat'l Geographic album, most of it field rather than studio recording, called The Music of Scotland. Has some great stuff. Not too many bagpipes on that album, however, though Grandpa did put a good bit of that on there as well.

	10:11pm JakeGould: I think the first 4AD cover I ever saw was the Cocteau Twins “Garlands” at Record Runner on Jones Street in the West Village. Wanted to buy it, but it was a pricey import CD. But what a weird, bleak and intriguing cover.

Brothers Adam (London Improvisers Orchestra, Secluded Bronte) and Jonathan Bohman (Secluded Bronte, Apricot My Lady) have been making a racket together since their early teens in the mid 70's. They use homemade instruments, household objects, borrowed texts and whatever else happens to be at hand to create their spontaneous sound slice-em-ups and have worked with Christian Marclay, Lol Coxhill, Felix Kubin, Jim O’Rourke, and Charles Hayward, among others. Tune in for an improvised live set and a selection of the Bohmans' favorite records!

Only one person: A classmate that was a very 1980s proto hipster named Anne. Wore a denim jacket filled with patches. She would yell at us about how she met Don Imus once and then would get all hyper and spastic and then would have to be taken to the school nurse. I miss Anne. I don’t miss Imus.

Has some great stuff. Not too many bagpipes on that album, however, though Grandpa did put a good bit of that on there as well.
