@Brian - Older brothers are known for that. Mine was a balsa wood model. It was pretty intricate, but too fragile to survive around the likes of me!

That is a great shirt!
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 4:54pm
Phillippe Bastille:

It is! I didn't wear it that much when I got it because I was portly and it looked like it represented my lifestyle a little too much. I'm almost 70 pounds lighter and now it's a deliciously ironic fashion statement.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm

That is great, Phillippe!

i don't remember a fast-food wfmu shirt. maybe i didn't get one; or maybe i just don't remember. i've never thrown out a wfmu shirt -even if i never liked it and it was falling apart.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:17pm

that makes sense. i think i've only donated twice in the autumn and only once enough for a tshirt.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 5:18pm
Phillippe Bastille:

I think they still have a few in the store
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm
coelacanth∅))):

i like that..."280 sticks of butter"!
i've got a few sticks of butter i'd like to part with. just a few but it bothers me. up until less than 5 years ago i could eat and drink any amount of calories and it wouldn't show. working in the health field i was often reminded of how fortunate i was and felt terrible for people who seemed to gain 5 pounds if they ate 1/2 a cookie.
- not any more! doctor thinks my thyroid is messed up.

Yes, I had the Queen song stuck in my head a lot of the past week - didn't want to do that to you.

We used to sing an adaptation of a Monty Python song:

"I like bicycles, I like bicycles ...
"... sometimes they're green, sometimes they're yellow ..."
"I like bicycles, I like bicycles ..."
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 5:40pm
Phillippe Bastille:

My bride is that 5 pounds per 1/2 a cookie person. Can't get her to realize it takes a lifestyle change to make a big difference. Counting calories alone will drive you nuts and wear you out. For me it was cutting out drinking anything with calories (sorry liquor store owner Kevin), only eating over an 8 hour period and taking a walk when I could. Took a little discipline but not a lot of thought.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm
coelacanth∅))):

oh, duh the pink floyd song is called "bike", not "bicycle"
...but maybe that one's too pedestrian for this show anyway
