This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

Drop some lovely lucre in the tin cup and show some appreciation for the wonderful tapestries of sound our dear Flash Strap weaves for us every week in the Explorers Room.

and the heat/ac does whatever it feels like doing at any given moment. neither heat nor ac can be turned off or on. sometimes the control panel is illuminated so i can at least see what it's doing, but usually not. the interior lights also seem to have their own agenda.

Coel, I had a 1968 VW Squareback That leaked thru the vent below the windshield. During the winter of 77-78, which was very wet here, it grew mushrooms on the passenger side carpet. Coincidentally at the same time, my father and I had this old factory building that we rented for nothing. We had a cabinet shop in part of it ,and sublet the rest. Our office had a big hole in the roof, but it was secure so we kept all out hand tools in there. Well, it had a slab floor that tilted towards the street and would become filled with water. We grew giant mushrooms on the carpet in there. It smelled real bad.
