Very powerful piece by Masoud Rezaei, and Iranian expat who lives in LA. The vocals by the way are by Mohsen Namjoo, another excellent Iranian expat artist (who's based right here in NYC actually). Great stuff, thanks for playing it.

I took up a yerba mate as an alternative to coffee. I use coffee if I'm /really/ tired. But coffee sometimes makes me too edgy, mate not.

Oooh, not sure.. it is part of the American Masters series-I speculate that it was originally intended to be a feature length and the film-maker, Arwen Curry, couldn't get funding (she was kickstarting or something like) so they picked it up and cut it down to fit their format...but they do have some docs that come in at 80+ minutes
