I can always rip a copy to MP3 for you Mr F if you need it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm
Rich in Washington:

This was one of the first tunes I ever downloaded off the internet, if memory serves. I had only up to that point a poorly recorded and truncated copy I'd taped off of a radio program in the 80s.

Little Marcy! I finally got to read the Cool and Strange Music 'interview' with her, written by my friend Toby/Dr. Zomb.
Avatar 2:19pm

Years ago, when I was younger, I would play Little Marcy at stoplights very very loud and look really serious bobbing my head like it was some bass-heavy jam.

@Fab - This was the late 80s with a mix of a few Marcy records i had at the time on cassette. Thankfully, I did not discover Markie until a good decade later and my bass booming years were over.

My cousin's daughter has a cat named Fluffy. When i was visiting them, we couldn't find him. We were all looking. And yes, i really did start saying, Here Fluffy, where are you..? I thought: If only Darryl were here to see this.

What is it with both psych and disco that EVERYBODY had to get on board? :-) Do my fellow EML people remember the Sinatra rumour back in the day? ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm

Hard not to hear Negativland's cut up version of this when listening to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm

Avatar 2:30pm

Avatar 2:31pm
Otis Fodder:

Whenever friends come over to hang out, have a beer, kick back... I put the Sheena's stream on in the backdrop low. Sorta routine now. Plus helps that pals have similar trashy tastes!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm
Rich in Washington:

I think I started up a month or so after everyone else.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

There was a rumour, back in the 90s - sadly disproved - that Sinatra had recorded a psych album. The cover, it was said, featured Frank in a Nehru jacket, and it was called "In-A-Gadda-Sinatra".
Avatar 2:32pm
worldsworstrecords:

awww... sadly Sammy beat him to it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

There was a FRENZIED search for that one! ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
Rich in Washington:

Oh man! Someone should talk Tina or Nancy or whoever to release it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
Jan Turkenburg:

lol, I would have loved to hear that indeed!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
Rich in Washington:

Oh. I see what you wrote. Not true. Well, we can dream...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

It was a myth :-( It never existed. Just a rumour. But ohhhhhhh the thought of it :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
Rich in Washington:

But maybe someone could recreate it. Know any good late-era Sinatra impersonators?

Avatar 2:47pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm

We have a little tiny community orchestra in my town, mainly composed of retired folks who USED to play instruments. I think they have a similar modus operandi to PS. I should try to attend one of their gigs. One of their members asked me to shoot video of them, but I couldn't make it work, schedule-wise.
Avatar 2:48pm
