Otis are you still using Dreamhost? I think I'm going to build a new website soon.

@MB - I recommend Siteground. Check them out. GrowBig plan allows more than 1 site. I still have a couple of sites with DH.. but have moved over to Siteground and another host A2 for many sites.

Avatar 3:44pm

@Dave - God, I wish. Only one 7" of Waylon.
  3:45pm

I'd be up to split costs on a rental. Let's start thinking about plans this early and have a Sheena's meetup. We could most likely plan something at the fair, maybe a DJ set with us there. I will volunteer for sure. Have not been to the fair since 2001... long time comin'

@otis lathe cut record + hand made 7x7 painting 25 in a series. What a good price?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm
Rich in Washington:

I've always dug Pye Corner Audio's library music vibe, both in terms of sound and packaging.
Avatar 4:34pm
Otis Fodder:

@MB - Well, with custom artwork. Depends, maybe somewhere between $30-$40 USD? The lathe cut by hand and probably screen print a cover around. The artwork I would pay more of course for. Thinking on a new project are we?
Avatar 4:35pm
Otis Fodder:

@Rich - Me too. The new album Hollow Earth is shaping up to be one of my favs from him. Just got it last week and have been playing it a ton.
  4:35pm
Martinibomb:

yes exactly some very small press music project.. kinda hand made etc...
Avatar 4:37pm
Otis Fodder:

@MB - From you! Put me down for 1.
  4:37pm
Martinibomb:

Okay so price wise yeah $30-40 if it's *printed* but thinking maybe around $100 if I hand paint a bunch of 7x7
Avatar 4:39pm
Otis Fodder:

Hand-painted, each one, for sure you can charge more.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:41pm

MB- how about both? A select few of hand painted, plus some printed ones?

@chresti - I always like this option.

Mr Fab:

Oh man, i'm in my leisure suit and porn 'stache, chasing bad guys in my Camero now
  4:43pm

@Chresti hmm that's a good way to start. I'll make 25 and do 12 paintings which each get a print plus 1 *special* painting with no print that costs a little more. thanks!

might make great background/talk over music? okay see ya Jan have a good weekend
Avatar 4:49pm

Thing is, the whole song is good, and pretty much the same with solos. So you use all of it in an edit and just arrange.

Count me in! 1 hour of this will be an hour of my life well spent.
Avatar 4:51pm

There are so many Nuggets-type '70s funk comps out there - I just nabbed a big mess of 'em - but they're all on dif labels, with dif names. There's no actual series, like, y'know, "Chitlins" or sumthin that would make it easier to get a handle on 'em all.

100% sampling. All I ever wanted to do, collage. Collaborations with many folks playing a wide variety of stuff tho' in projects. Love to play with others and just stick to sampling. Fun!

i could make a bunch electronic sounds to collage together - that might be a fun collaboration?
