I vividly recall hearing this on the radio often as a small child. What kind of radio station did we listen to, though?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm
Jan Turkenburg:

This is one of my favorite themes. Songs about food!
Avatar 2:04pm
worldsworstrecords:

I love this single!

I'm happy to see that this show already has some pledges. Click on "Pledge Now" folks, if you're as big a masochist as I am and love hearing this madness every week!
Avatar 2:05pm

Oh! How exciting! Next time I will get my act together in time and offer up something special for pledgers

"She pogo-ed out on me"?! Oh my gawd, this is truly mind-boggling. On disco label RSO no less. Still '78 is pretty early to cover the Ramones, gotta give 'em (a little) credit for that I guess...

Darryl, will you be recording one of your own books?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm
Rich in Washington:

We have a community orchestra in the town I live in that is similar in vein to Portsmouth Sinfonia, but I think they try a bit to not sound as wobbly. It's mainly retired people like engineers and the like who played instruments when they were much younger.
Avatar 2:13pm

Yes Mr F, David Bowie Made Me Gay

I saw a copy of "David Bowie Made Me Gay" at a downtown LA bookstore, as well as copies of Spacebrother Greg's book, "Weird California." The store needs its own "Sheena" section!
  2:17pm

is there a place to send people to pledge for Sheena's?
Avatar 2:18pm

That's great... I've not read Weird California, but it sounds right up my strasse
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm

We need to start a twitter campaign about how Pat Boone made a record where they chant 'death to America' and throw him to the Fox news-type wolves. Taking things out of context is fun!

Oh Pat. What a tool.
