Mikey K.:

For what it's worth, here's a lazy cut and paste about what "bippy" means. I missed what you said about someone whose last name is Buzzio. On Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, there was a comedian named Ruth Buzzi. Maybe a connection there?
Anyway keep on truckin', brother. Hang in there!

It's from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, a zany television show from the late 1960s.

The word bippy, by the way, means “butt.” The phrase “You bet your sweet bippy” is a linguistic descendant of earlier versions that go back to at least the 1880s, when phrases like “You bet your sweet life” were commonly used.

BB King was on American Experience this week and Buddy Guy was on Austin City Limits. Bono was talking about he and Edge explaining the chords to Love Comes to Town to BB, and BB quietly interrupts him ‘Fellas, Fellas ... I don’t do chords.’

I saw BB King in Syracuse back in the 80's. The crowd was pretty rowdy.
