Wed. Feb 20th, 3pm - 6pm: Somewhere Out There: The Joe Frank film (with director DP Carlson) (More info...)

Joe Frank radio dramas aired on WFMU for many years. A new feature-length bio-pic, "Somewhere Out There," directed by DP Carlson, screens at the Anthology Film Archives in New York on Weds Feb. 20. That afternoon from 3–6pm (Eastern), Carlson visits WFMU to talk about Joe on Irwin's program. Classic clips from Joe's dramas will be featured. The film will also screen at WFMU's Monty Hall on Sunday March 10 during our fundraising festival. "Somewhere Out There" features interviews with Joe's friends, actors, engineers and close associates, revealing his art, creative process, and personal life.

November 28, 2018: No cheap cynicism here. Premium grade.

	Thu. 12/6/18 11:58am leylou: relistening to the archive of this, it is one of those moments of surreal synchronicity to have Irwin just talk about Eating, and it being an actual life concern of mine these weeks where I'm facing sickness from lack of it. I really should try not to die because at some point along the way I was made to forget that that was important and good. the jazz sets are as usual just as important as good food also :)
