Good morning Amanda. Not sure if you have time for a request, but a week or so ago we heard "Exercise" from Wonderama on your program. It might've been the week that Joe was standing in (we're fans of both shows). Anyway, our family has had that song stuck in our heads since then and sing it constantly. Seems like it could fit the bill after a gluttonous holiday. Thanks for the awesome tunes. Team Pants (our family)

I have a board book of the owl and the pussycat from when I was a kid that I read to my children. Its one of those diorama illustrated books, which I always loved.

Donna:

@Roger LOL
  10:13am
Mike East:

Oh, and in food related news, the cinnamon buns I made last week turned out great, but what a pain in the ass! Much like Bart Simpson opening the cranberries, having your kids "help" in the kitchen is a very difficult thing. I was thinking about writing a cookbook specifically geared toward teaching parents how to delegate tasks to their children....of course I'll need to figure it out myself first.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20am
Amanda:

I love that idea Mike East! That Simpsons clip speaks to me so much because I am often, as an adult, that useless in the kitchen.

It is a great regret of mine that I missed Jonathan Richman at White Eagle Hall last month.
Also, whenever I hear Ian Dury, I think about the blockheads from Gumby being his backing band.
