Popular and esoteric musics strung together with improvisational referential psuedononymous monologues that sit underneath field recordings made by the bastard son of Lomax, Giorno and Joyce giving you a finely tailored soundtrack to your life.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm
Rich in Washington:

My mother in law tithed money to Eugene Scott for many years and even moved to L.A. to work in his ministry.
For many years we hung onto her enormous bin of cassettes of Scott lectures. I wish I had them now. They were pretty crazy, some of them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm
Michael 98145:

The scary Melissa Scott was on late-night tv for awhile.
Avatar 6:52pm
geezerette:

Rich, I especially liked Scott's later videos of himself and Stormy Daniels type companions riding horses to a jazz track. Good jazz!

Michael, I wondered recently where she went! No reason, just randomly ocurred to me. She was slick.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52pm

I googled grundle salad, didn't find that but something adjacent. Eww.

Rich in Washington:

I discovered Gene while traversing my parent's enormous satellite dish over to G5 to watch the Playboy Channel after they went to bed. I spotted this weird, Oompa Loompa looking man sitting in a chair in front of a throng of people so panned it back to see what he was talking about. I became hooked. He would talk about the pyramids, UFOs, Tesla, all kinds of crazy stuff, all the while smoking cigars, showing clips of his prized race horses, etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm
Rich in Washington:

When I later met and married my wife, one of the things we bonded on is our mutual wonder of how weird Gene 'Doc Scott is.
Avatar 6:57pm
geezerette:

Michael, something about L.A. draws cult leaders. Loooooong tradition.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm
Rich in Washington:

Scott owned the Jesus Saves sign in LA. Now it's owned by Melissa, along with the late Scotts collection of the world's oldest bibles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm
dale:

rich - that sounds awesome! hope you broke into the liquor cabinet while watching to take the edge off.
