In Portugal it is pronounced the same as in French, Georges. In European Portuguese, we say [ˈʒɔɾʒ(ɨ)] or “ZHOR-zh”. Rather similar to the English pronunciation of George. Brazilian pronunciation depends on the specific accent, but the last “e” is usually pronounced “i” or “e”: something like [ʒɔɾʒi/] or “ZHOR-zhee”.

Does anyone know, if I favorite a song on the WFMU app does it become a clicky star on the website? I'm guessing the answer is no, because even if I use the same user handle on the app, it doesn't show as my user profile on the website. (Not only that, you can't comment in a mobile browser on the WFMU site, because the comment input form runs off the bottom of the page!)

@fred: It's usually 35C even w/ the rain, but after an hour or so it drops a few degrees, as rain literally turns to steam off the bitumen asphalt. If it didn't rain, we' be hovering w/ 40C w/ nearly 90% relative humidity, so, I'm happy for the rain. Haven't had to water my garden since late March.
