Good morning, Bob and all. And, what the hey, Happy Bloomsday!
  Sat. 6/16/18 9:03am dan:

I forgot it was Bloomsday. I'll have to take out my copy of Ulysses later.

Good Morning Bob & All Listeners. Hey Jeff!
  Sat. 6/16/18 9:13am dan:

Hard to believe that Roy Wood is playing all the instruments on this song.
  Sat. 6/16/18 9:13am V Priceless:

Roy!!
  Sat. 6/16/18 9:20am 1whoknewcthulhu:

Damn! No one could wail like Tim Buckley (except, perhaps, his son Jeff).
  Sat. 6/16/18 9:24am dan:

On a future show, you should play Richard Kiley's version of a "Oh What a Beautiful Morning".

Morning Bob and all. Sad to hear about Jon Hiseman. DJ Fontana RIP as well.
  Sat. 6/16/18 9:38am dan:

Glad to hear a tribute to Jon Hiseman. One of the most underrated drummers ever. This solo says it all:

Nice to hear Jack Bruce in a jazz context... Stand up bass, sounds like.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 6/16/18 9:45am duke:

It's pretty hard to cover Jackie Wilson and do a decent job. This isn't bad.
  Sat. 6/16/18 10:03am ?:

Yup, me too! NRBQ introduced me to Piano Red -- I have that CD.
  Sat. 6/16/18 10:26am rw:

Woah. I remember that Jack In The Box jingle. If I remember correctly, one of the TV ads ended with a family in a convertible pulling through the drive-thru with a naked kid sitting on the car. (Come as you like, come as you are). I feel like I must be mis-remembering. Does that sound familiar to anyone?
  Sat. 6/16/18 10:27am rw:

The implication being that you didn't have to get dressed up to go out to eat. You could just drive through and pick up your food.
  Sat. 6/16/18 10:39am dan:

CLAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!! You read my mind Bob
  Sat. 6/16/18 10:42am Lixiviated Life:

Dude. Creepy
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 6/16/18 10:42am WilliamfromDumont:

The lyrics to this song: disturbing.
Avatar Sat. 6/16/18 10:52am Bob Brainen:

Nah, it was a more innocent era. Hey, Memphis by Chuck Berry, how old Was Marie? Like a "Mommy I want to marry you" sentiment....wait, that is creepy...
  Sat. 6/16/18 10:54am Jeff:

Hey Doc, drove from Bklyn to NJ listening to WFMU all the way.
Thanks for making the drive more pleasant, Bob!

Remembering passing up the burgers for the far tastier, upscale Jack in the Box "steak" sandwich in upstate New Paltz. Today the nearest locations are NC and Indianapolis (where in Ohio?), whatever their target market is.
  Sat. 6/16/18 1:25pm JoeChrisMorris:

always good to hear Moby Grape, Bob!
  Sun. 6/17/18 11:33am little boxes:

I think the top Jack in the Box burger was $1.89, the deluxe "steak" sandwich $2.29-$2.49 - worth the price difference

Can't stop listening to the Church song - sister
