my last gig, a couple days ago, was in kind of a dusty cramped space, on an organ behind the bar. lots of LPs back there, plus the organ and Leslie which takes up a bunch of space, and the bench. Fortunately the owners don't care what I wear, so usually cutoffs, t-shirt, no socks. and the drum box was routed through the PA , which made it hard to hear when the patrons got to shouting!

When I was in college, there weren't enough dorm rooms, so some students lived downtown in the Graver Inn. The place had a band bar on the first floor and a guy in one of my classes said he could tune his radio to pick up the signal from the wireless bass. I don't know what band was playing that gig.
