Finnish guitarist Janne Halonen joins us to introduce We Are Together, the excellent new album by Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble on the roots-worldly Bafe's Factory label. Janne leads the trans-continental band along with Benin-based singer / percussionist Noel Saizonou. We'll learn what brought musicians from two far-flung countries together and get a taste of their distinctive Vodun-rock / jazz-tinged concoctions on this week's show.
