Afternoon, snowy Ridgewoodians and all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm
steveo:

Hellowians!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:07pm
Sem:

Greets, all. Up for whatever manner of sorcery or soliloquy is on offer. Cannot ever be too fatty for my taste.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm
david w:

OK, dried me boots off now and ready to play. Hello all you all!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:09pm
listener james from westwood:

Well, there goes my theory that Kenzo is an uploaded bodiless consciousness! Unless the bus is what he needs to drag around the computing power.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm
david w:

Hey @ James! Did you ever watch Max Headroom?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm
david w:

steveo and james are probably pretty socked in with snow like me, but Sem I can't remember where you are...
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:18pm
Sem:

...in Nova Scotia on the Bay of Fundy, awaiting the storm you all there have been enjoying...
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
listener james from westwood:

@david w: I did indeed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
david w:

Yes, Sem, I believe you are going to get a taste of this.
Avatar 3:20pm
Mayuko:

I was listening to A Confederacy Of Dances comp this morning without knowing you're in it, David! Enjoyed listening to your tracks a lot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm
david w:

That Headroom show was prescient, I think it might have aged well, along with a few groans and giggles. Bodiless consciousness and Kenzo being the point of reference here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm
david w:

Mayuko! Thanks! That CD has traveled far, amazing that it still pops up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm
steveo:

Not too bad in Manhattan, really. It was slushy at lunchtime. Yay, tuba!

h’lo hey
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm

Ah, Scraps. You know you get the golden headphones from the Drummers so... you know... thanks!

"bonus 66% whatever"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm

Thanks, Blackjack. The tuba seems to have pleased everyone!

Has the Stepchild started a casino?

Hello Ridgewoodians! Hello David and Ruth! Hello, official adopter of the Drummer Stream Scraps!
Avatar 3:45pm
northguineahills:

I believe I saw Martin Escalante at the DMG years ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm
david w:

Hello Doug! Scraps is being a little shy, but I think the message is getting through!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:53pm
Doug Schulkind:

We're all a little shy. That's why try to hide behind a microphone (cough, burp, wheeze).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm
fred:

Good afternoon David, Ruth, and Ridgewood people. We'll switch to DST on Sunday, which will end a confusing time for me
  3:54pm
Stepchild:

Oop! Still had the d:O nickname tag working... So bad at this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:56pm
david w:

Hey Fred! Ruth says she thinks you change by 2 hours there. True?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm
steveo:

Keep reminding myself that's a saxophone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm
david w:

We've been trying to thank you, Fred. Hope you got our vibe!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm
david w:

@steveo I think he takes the mouthpiece off a lot of the time and kind of howls in there.
  4:01pm
Stepchild:

Feel we should call DST “Summer time” as I think the Brits, or some of them?, do. It would emphasize he nuttiness or it a bit. Esp on a day like this...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm
fred:

No, just one, which will put us back 6 hours ahead. And I saw your thank you 2 weeks ago when I made it home after the Sakamoto show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm
steveo:

some amazing sounds whatever parts he's using
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03pm
david w:

Oh yeah. I was jealous of both the Ryuichi show and the sound sculptures!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:09pm
fred:

@Stepchild: That's what we call it over here, "heure d'été"
Avatar 4:22pm

Very different from other stuff I've heard from MV Carbon.

After using the app for two years, I just discovered the sub basement that is these streams. I'm a little confused. Is there a DJ at the helm?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm
david w:

Indeed. We are live! And then archived.
Avatar 4:32pm
northguineahills:

Right now, David W is working the tiller
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm
fred:

Changing the sound by moving even a few paces often happens in churches. Not so much at this years two Sonic Protest shows that took place in one. These sound guys are becoming too good at what they do. I guess not all kinds of music benefit from this anyway. I think Harsh Noise Wall would, I'll have to mention it
Avatar 4:33pm
northguineahills:

I used to have this Maryanne Amacher album... it's been lost *sobs*
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm
david w:

Maryanne totally designed the stuff to bounce around both the walls and in your head. Heterodyning, or binaural hallucination or whatever. Individual experience and no small amount of magic (read: super skill).
