In the 'This Is the Song We Sing' boxset (more a beautiful yearbook sorta format really) about the classic Bay Area music
- they kinda posit TheChocolateWatchband as an example of their main 'thesis' :
- that the division between Fillmore-approved acts & more suburban Garage-eesh acts is really a 'legless wonder', the closer one looks @ it...the Watchband being pritty dern Psych for a 'Garage' band...these being Labels all applied after the fact? Sort of?...
