Smokin' first set, Larry. Metaphorically speaking, of course. Mrs. Parq and I are non-smokers.

In 24 hrs, my formerly destroyed cd tower will be structurally sound. I just need to append the rotating base to it, flip it (the movers crushed it while it was upside down.) (just put the last epoxy in the joins). This weekend I should be able to get rid of 5-6 boxes of cds (the boxes, not the cds). At least nothing else looks too broken (the other cd tower was slightly damaged, and a little glue but it back together), and the other cd shelves look fine.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:24pm
Funky16Corners:

I still have most of my CDs in boxes. I need to find a way to get them out so I can get at them readily

It’s apparently on a 1967 album with Hasta Luego? Nabors is all things to all people

I chafed at an obit/article author's choice to say "best known" for Gomer Pyle. Well that was true when I was in elementary school, but in the decades since, I've seen and enjoyed him plenty more in Mayberry revisits and that became a much more familiar association than the Marine base. For many others, too, I'm sure. I wanna holler in the writer's face like Sgt. Carter would at Gomer.

@Still b/p - Nabors was a talented guy, but I can't think of hin without thinking of the SCTV Merv Griffith Show skit, where there was an alternative Mayberry where the role of Gomer Pyle was played by impressionist Fred TRavalena

I play the Never Can Say Goodbye sung-melody line on two strings on the acoustic guitar. It does not sound like this.
