@βrian. Sancerre crops up in Hemingway's writing over and over. May have been a product placement thing, Papa's legendary bullshitting, or it could be that did have a taste for fine wine. He after all had some good points. Understanding all things alcoholic, for example. Look at the Papa Doble, for instance. Or F.Scott Fitzgerald.
