Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

I'm sorry but are you all getting together without me and Ruth and passing around a bug that I don't know about?

Good afternoon David, Ruth, and listeners. Lea Bertucci's show was great last week. I even got to say hi and namedrop you, David

Argh, sorry to hear you've been felled too, doc! Hoping this coming Friday sees you feeling much better!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm
weinstein:

Thats cool, Fred! I was hoping it wasn't some velvet rope deal and you could communicate some appreciation. Glad to hear!

I understand you can pass viruses along on a chat board on the internet (read it on facebook). No direct person to person spread, though, David.

Doesn't it have to be a Windows machine? Or is that ancient history?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm
fred:

@David: totally not a velvet rope thing, I kept it short because she was setting up (I didn't remember what she looked like) and I knew I would have to rush to catch the last bus after the show. I missed it, but it was well worth the walk
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm
weinstein:

I'm pretty sure I have more Lea B live sets here somewhere. She always surprises and certainly never repeats. I'll do a search.

not to be confused w/ the Vivian Girls the band, or the subject of the Darger opus.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:11pm
weinstein:

Thank you, that is correct, though Darger lurks around this project too of course.

Jamie Saft makes his return, another of the artists I like (though I know him from his jazz and klezmer recordings).
