His obit said he had Parkinson's. He was 76. He was one of the real keepers of the flame IMO. That sound! You knew in 5 seconds it was him.

In Washington there is no liquor store; just buy liquor in the grocery now. (Kinda weird.)

In New Jersey, it's a whole separate deal--they don't even sell beer in the grocery store, which can be very inconvenient when you're stocking up for a cookout or something.

Either one, Guido! The modern era CDs combine them so you get both "Purple Haze" and "Red House," since it was a crime to leave either one off, anyway.
