Hiya, Stanley!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 1/15/17 7:07am Nate K.:

Hey Stanley. I'm familiar with both of the bands on that track, but, yes, that specific track was new to me and it was killer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 1/15/17 7:41am fred:

@Sem: So you've made your way to the first one. I should read John Henry Days again, it's been a while
Avatar    Sun. 1/15/17 7:48am Sem Chumbo:

fred, yeah, my orginal idea to start with CW's first would have been fine if I wanted to buy all the books. But that wasn't going to happen. Happy to have so much more work to look forward to.

@Sem: I actually read them in order, but that was blind luck for the first four. Then the waiting game started. The only author whose site I check regularly (well, twice a year is plenty for a writer). I haven't read his poker book yet though

Hi Nate & fellow pyros!
Avatar    Sun. 1/15/17 8:12am Sem Chumbo:

fred, when I start with a new (to me)writer, I like to see the evolution in the work, it adds interest. I also embargo any commentary whatsoever, just trying to get the pure stuff, untainted.
Poker book, you say? This fellow has impressive scope.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 1/15/17 8:22am fred:

@Sem: It's not a tutorial, but his story of being sent by Grantland to take part in a poker competition
Avatar    Sun. 1/15/17 8:31am Sem Chumbo:

Thanks, fred, I'll keep an eye open.

Hey Mike, did I see you cutting a rug last night at Monty Hall or were my eyes playing tricks?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 1/15/17 8:47am Mike Sin:
