Oh, man. This show is gonna be great. Starting with Hatfield!
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:04am fleep:

Twitter promised first set different, so far so good.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:05am tuner fish:

great so far, as always!
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:06am Jeff Conklin:

Morning, all.
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:11am Brent.:

Now National Health. So, like I was saying. Just great. // Also, you need to spend an afternoon with Bruce at Downtown Music Gallery. He's been an invaluable guide over the years for this stuff and all it's many offshoots.
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:14am Hippie Jesus:

Isn't one of the 10 Commandments, "Thy Shall Play No YES In The Ghetto?" Because this sounds a lot like, YES
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:15am Jeff Conklin:

No Yes tonight but Yes is a yes, always
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:17am Mario:

Good morning, Jeff and everybuddy!
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:19am Fox (Rā-chul):

Greetings.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:21am Jeff Conklin:

Was curious to see who of the regulars could hang with the prog/jazz rock
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:25am Jeff Conklin:

@Brent: Unbeliavbly I have yet to visit DMG since they moved to chinatown
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:26am northguineahills:

That's some serious proggy prog!
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:28am Hippie Jesus:

I'm loving this jazzy-prog and I look forward to hearing YES on future shows.
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:29am Brent.:

I understand. It took me a year to visit after they moved. But once you get your path, you're good to go. And then your wallet is empty. Ha! // Really started enjoying their free Sunday night in-stores last year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 1/9/17 12:29am joeray:

Where's the Canterbury wood elf?
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:29am Jeff Conklin:

@joeray: Right??
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:38am Brent.:

Oh, shit. I didn't even KNOW about this one. H/D/T/G. This is getting into Ovary Lodge territory as far as the freak goes. (OK. Not much is as freak as Ovary Lodge, but you can't have Frank Perry on everything.)
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:38am northguineahills:

Even I've been to DMG since they moved to Chinatown, and I haven't been allowed to by records in 6 years and no longer live in NYC.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:38am Jeff Conklin:

Norway-only release strangely enough. Whole thing is great.
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:41am holland oats:

Cruel yes, dunno how fair
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:45am bbb:

Just tuning in...hi all. I vote yes for jazzy prog and proggy jazz. Nice sax on this "Square Enough Fire" track. Kinda reminds me of Traffic. Hmmm, now it's over. Not sure what to make of this S.O.S. bit, but like the sax on it too.
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:48am gd0:

Diggin' the S.O.S. ! ! !
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:49am gd0:

Toby Levin on drums ? ? ?

Speaking of T-Lev, got any B.L.U.E. in the vault?
  Mon. 1/9/17 12:50am gd0:

Tony...

I can't type...
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 12:53am Jeff Conklin:

Different Tony Levin
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 1:02am Steppenwolf:

@Guido: Same to you, man.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 1:27am Hagbard Celine:

Hi all. Have been tuning in and out tonight, but lovin the prog-jazz and jazz-prog. Great show!
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 1:44am Jeff Conklin:

Nothing like prog and jazz to scare people away. Love it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 1/9/17 1:46am Ken From Hyde Park:

Homer Simpson thinks this is Lisa playing her honkamaflute.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 1:47am Jeff Conklin:

I don't watch the Simpsons, is that good or bad
  Mon. 1/9/17 1:50am Mark R:

Digging the free jazz vibe tonight, Jeff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 1/9/17 1:52am Ken From Hyde Park:

Probably neither good nor bad, but more of a gag that he couldn't remember the name saxophone.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 1:54am Jeff Conklin:

@Ken: Ha
  Mon. 1/9/17 1:54am Mark R:

I've somehow managed to not see much of the longest-running show in the history of television, either, but I've always liked it a lot when I've seen it.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 2:08am fleep:

Now this sounds like Ghetto. That free jazz was quite a ride. Really dug the prog.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 2:28am Hagbard Celine:

Knew there would be a prize after all that racket. Thanks for keeping us awake Jeff.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 2:33am Jeff Conklin:

Damn so many haters....
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 2:37am Hagbard Celine:

...sorry, thought you could sense my sarcastic emoji.
Avatar Mon. 1/9/17 2:57am Jeff Conklin:

ha, now worries.

Thanks for listening, everybody, "see" you all next week.
  Mon. 1/9/17 9:33pm Lenny:
