Gaylord Fields:

Makes me wonder what sentence Judge Dread would hand down to Prince Buster for the spousal abuse he subjects his wife to in "Ten Commandments."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm
Matt F:

As we will see later, Judge Dread was capable of leniency when circumstances warranted...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm
Matt F:

How would he have treated the old woman who lived in a shoe for beating her children soundly and sending them to bed?
Avatar 2:44pm
Mailman Tom:

Ska sounds much better than Reggae. Play some more, please.
  2:45pm
Gaylord Fields:

I think her having to live in a shoe was her sentence (although it's hard to clamp a monitor bracelet on a house-size shoe).
  2:50pm
Gaylord Fields:

Vigor Fisher should have listened to this record (especially Buster's spelling part) before he recorded "Al Caplone"!

Does anybody know what label currently controls the Buster back catalog? I'd *love* to see Norton get ahold of it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:02pm
doctorjazz:

Think you've cornered the market on Prince Buster...
  3:07pm
JARO:

Naw it's not the Bob Marley t-shirts, I think it's the cornball American ska bands that turned people off.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm

That too my friend.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm

Gaylord we should talk "IRL", as the kids say, about going to see Opie's Beatles movie...
  3:33pm
Dean:

Does "IRL" mean what we oldsters used to refer to as "meatspace"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm
Gaylord Fields:

Matt, we have less than an eight-day week to do it, so let's compare schedules offlist!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm

(Heard them both from the Dead first as well. Say what you will about the Dead, and many have not nice things to say, though not me, but I branched out to so much music I likely wouldn't have heard because of being a Dead fan).
