Still b/p, wasn't "Brides" set in Seattle? Maybe the tech people don't want to admit there was a Seattle before Gates.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm
Webhamster Henry:

@Mayuko - no, the back of Tower Records on Broadway & 4th st in Manhattan had at one point a separate entrance that was a store for World Music and cutouts! That part of the building is now called Soul Cycle.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20pm
fred:

@Jason: the players in that ethnic music from Pittsburgh were not named?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm
Webhamster Henry:

My ex wife was in a show as a kid called "Tell It Like It Is", another Christian Folk-rock "relevance" show.

I always thought someone should do a show only consists tracks by "unknown" people. I bet someone has done it already, but.
Avatar 4:34pm
Jason Elbogen:

Hey Mayuko--maybe you can help translate this title?
Avatar 4:36pm
Jason Elbogen:

google says: "EKO - Nīlakaṇṭha Dhāraṇī"
Avatar 4:37pm
Mayuko:

Sure, that's "Eko ~ Daihishindarani", Eko pronounce like Echo, meaning Buddhist's memorial service.
Avatar 4:37pm
Mayuko:

大悲心陀羅尼 is I think a name of the chant.
Avatar 4:43pm
Mayuko:

Also, 只管打坐 = shikantaza.
