I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:11pm Michael 98145:

indeed
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:12pm Bryce:

:)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:13pm Marcel M:

Yo Bryce! Sounding good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:13pm Carmichael:

5th day of +100 degree temps. I think Decimus may be involved.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:14pm Marcel M:

Today seems a bit better
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:14pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Light beige is the average color of the universe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:15pm Michael 98145:

hexadecimus
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:19pm Matt:

a Decimus for the rest of us.
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:19pm Matt:

oh shoot. sorry - didn't see that first comment!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:24pm Carmichael:

HexaDecimus being played by DodecaBryce
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:26pm blee:

Decimus and now Tackle, is today a holiday>?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:31pm Michael 98145:

the last Friday of July
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:31pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

FOKES.
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:31pm Mark R:

So that's all you're gonna tell us, huh? "Decimus." No song, no album, no nothin'. "I was gonna type all that shit but my wrists got tired..."
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:31pm stefuca:

Driving in a car, and listening to you on the actual radio!
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:32pm Mark R:

Wow just like 1965, stefuca!
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:33pm stefica:

Not stefuca
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:33pm Mark R:

Oh my bad
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:36pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

The one Decimus LP i have has zero titles on sleeve or label. Perhaps it isn't even Decimus.... at all....
just.......... " "
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:37pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

It could be Bobby Vinton for all I know.
Doesn't sound like Bobby Vinton.
But it doesn't say it ISN'T Bobby Vinton.
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:38pm Mark R:

Then, my mocking of the DJ is hereby withdrawn and re-focused on whatever record label Decimus is on. If they're on one. If there is in fact a Decimus. Which I'm beginning to doubt.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:39pm steve:

hello!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:39pm sphere:

but what if Bobby Vinton wasn't on the "Bobby Vinton record"? what then?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:40pm steve:

everything is going according to plan...
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:40pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

DAMMIT, SPHERE, MY HEAD! I DON'T WANT TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD!
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:41pm Bryce:

lol, sorry mark. still running around, power foraging
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:41pm Mark R:

As usual I'm digging the sounds of the Bryce radio program, anyway. If it really was 1965, I wouldn't have a playlist to mock. I'd just be wondering why they're playing these weirdo sounds and not the Rolling Stones new hit smash record with a bullet. The one about the cigarettes and so forth. Which I think is their coded way of telling all the tea-heads that they also smoke marijuana, and to please send them to their hotel when they visit their town on their next concert tour.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:42pm Chris from DC:

Yay Bryce
  Fri. 7/29/16 12:42pm Mark R:

Actually, I think Bryce just stuck a microphone down in the bowels of the building and is broadcasting that while he eats lunch. Hence the lack of information on the "record."
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 12:46pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

looking at discogs, it must be Decimus 10, the one with no clues...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 12:50pm blee:

Looks like Bryce has updated the Decimus, naysayers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:06pm Linda Lee:

really love the show Bryce! thanks for making my day!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:08pm Michael 98145:

power foraging reminds me of a Roomba
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:10pm Chris from DC:

Can I use power foraging for a title or something? I like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:11pm Michael 98145:

i don't believe it is a registered service mark
  Fri. 7/29/16 1:12pm Fern:

I can't believe you played The Wirtschaftswunder! I thought I was the only person that owns that album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:12pm Linda Lee:

'Progressive Disco' ~ officially my newest favorite track ever. & how appropriate!
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:13pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Fern: I end up thinking that quite a bit with this here program..
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:14pm JtotheK:

hi everyone. Progressive Disco was really great! and this cover of Tighten Up is quite fun, love it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:14pm Linda Lee:

never thought Tighten Up could be irritating in the least ..& now it's irritating in the least. :-D
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:16pm Linda Lee:

still phenomenal ~
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:16pm Carmichael:

They sold nearly a dozen copies, Fern.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:18pm Michael 98145:

i have taken a great liking to Guerilla Toss due to WFMU
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:19pm Cecile:

I love that version of Tighten Up
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:21pm Chris from DC:

Yeah, this is cool. Have to see Guerilla Toss next time they're around.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:22pm Cecile:

Got God is My Co-Pilot?
  Fri. 7/29/16 1:24pm nic:

this is crazy love it
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:25pm Chris from DC:

Thought it was the Units for a second.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:27pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

th'LOAF!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:28pm Linda Lee:

oh my! me & my rhythm box!
Fri. 7/29/16 1:29pm Dave in Vermont on the phone:

Sitting in car in parking lot reading and a nearby carpet care van's drone complementing Bryce's selections
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:30pm Michael 98145:

nice thru headphones
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:31pm Kat in Chicago:

This program has been delightful so far
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:32pm Linda Lee:

agree Kat! sounds to roll tortillas by, imho.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:35pm Michael 98145:

foraging is bearing fruit
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:35pm JakeGould:

Hi there, Bryce!

Also hello to others.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:35pm Cecile:

mmm tortillas. I just had a delightfully disgusting microwave burrito
  Fri. 7/29/16 1:37pm nic:

love this show crazy happy !!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:37pm Linda Lee:

rolling your own is another world Cecile :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:38pm Linda Lee:

the show is genius!!
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:38pm Cecile:

Oh, I know. I've made 'em before. The gringo kind with flour and milk, but still delicious!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:39pm Michael 98145:

uh oh. don't watch.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:39pm Linda Lee:

milk! never done that ...
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:39pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

this DC native spent about a decade in southern AZ, where it must be said, the foodie-foods....
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:40pm JtotheK:

i have not made tortillas, though i have the ingredients to do so...eventually. soon-ish.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:40pm Carmichael:

@RTD, I spent a few years in Tucson. Twas a grand time.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:40pm Mark R:

I like when they sing "Sex Machine" in German.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:41pm Cecile:

yeah, Texas tortillas have white flour, shortening of your choice, milk and baking powder, I think. It's been a while.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:41pm JakeGould:

“The gringo kind with flour and milk…” Flour tortillas are delicious to just roll into a ball and eat as a food, but not as something that goes with food!
  Fri. 7/29/16 1:41pm larryanne:

Hi
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:42pm Cecile:

I disagree. Once you have had a brisket taco in certain parts of TX, you will be sold.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:43pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Carm: tucson it was. Every parking lot had its requisite Tamale Lady, selling hand-mades from a liberated shopping cart. Always excellent.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:44pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

This was the 1990s, so who knows, it might all be transformed into the Delaware suburbs by now..
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:44pm Guido from Cologne:

Where did you get theese NDW-dittie that no one has?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:45pm Carmichael:

I was there in 1980-81. Betcha it's the same quaint hamlet now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:46pm Linda Lee:

just doing masa salt & water here .. & developing a serious dependency.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:46pm JakeGould:

I’ll give you the brisket taco!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:46pm steve:

i am roboting so hard right now
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:47pm Linda Lee:

go steve!!
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:47pm Wild Neil:

Living in NM (Alamogordo and Las Cruces) they had
1. A tortillaria factory in supermarket
2. giant metal mesh baskets (like NYC trash cans) rotating under giant blue gas flames roasting chilies....yum!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:48pm Michael 98145:

@Cecile, i'd be afraid to go to certain parts of TX
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:48pm Cecile:

I'd like to try making masa tacos someday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:49pm Linda Lee:

it's super duper easy. secret is getting the moisture in the dough just right.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:49pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Never got to see Doo Rag (WAH), but did catch Cluster when they played Tuc during that first USA tour. So it balances out...
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:49pm Cecile:

Michael, it's a long story, I didn't want to go there, and it wasn't fun, but the food was awesome.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:51pm Wild Neil:

@Rev.
I saw Doo Rag open for Beck in Philly...I REALLY DID NOT like them. At all...you missed little in my opinion.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 1:55pm JakeGould:

Doo Rag is a fine band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 1:59pm Linda Lee:

has anyone done sound work based on the fmu comments board?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:00pm Linda Lee:

happy summertime Jake!
  Fri. 7/29/16 2:03pm spodiodi:

oh my
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:04pm steve:

Linda - i think about it all the time, then never do it... so many possibilities though...
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:04pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

tucson-wise: There was also DUARTE 6 which released one CD of totally bent instrumental stuff, tragically un-heard. Plus NOT BREATHING... otherwise wasn't aware of much from town.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:04pm Linda Lee:

i might try it if i retire early ..
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:04pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Linda Lee: I'm sure Kenny G must have sung the comments for a whole show at one point.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:05pm Chris from DC:

mmm...early retirement...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:06pm Linda Lee:

i would actually pay money to hear that, Reverend ... but not too much
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:06pm steve:

i promise to do comments board-based sound art if i retire early
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:07pm Kat in Chicago:

"My boy is better than twenty wagon wheels?" is that what I heard?
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:07pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

I remember SM Ken playing around with iPhone text-to-speech apps, reading the comment board on the air. Years ago..
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:08pm Linda Lee:

last SSD was weird like that
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:09pm Linda Lee:

hope we'll have access to that, steve ..
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:10pm Wild Neil:

Last SSD was hilarious and hard to follow....I was laughing out loud in a café listening to it......it was so stupid it was really, really funny. Like 8th grade funny....
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:11pm steve:

i missed YMO. play Tighten Up on repeat for the next hour.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:11pm Linda Lee:

agreed Wild Neil! i was laughing out loud too. at home.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:11pm Kat in Chicago:

It was a mess but it had its moments.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:14pm Linda Lee:

a total mess. very amusing.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:15pm Bryce:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:18pm Kat in Chicago:

Great show, Bryce! I don't get to catch this one much. Glad I got to today.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:19pm Bryce:

:)
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:22pm JakeGould:

Play “Tighten Up” on repeat? Just play it at 16.5 RPM if possible and call it a thing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:26pm Michael 98145:

yes. 45, 78 or 200-500 rpm is such a frantic pace.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:30pm steve:

id love to hear it at 1rpm
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:32pm Chris from DC:

This Af Ursin on endless loop, please.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:33pm Linda Lee:

this is lovely. real nice with the cicadas outside here.
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:33pm Cecile:

Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:35pm Chris from DC:

Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:38pm Wild Neil:

@Cecile-where is Myth, the UP? Chi-town?
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:42pm Cecile:

Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:43pm Chris from DC:

Whatever happened to Avarus?
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:43pm Cecile:

I like malls okay, they have their place. I like Maplewood. It's OK. Myth is terrible
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:45pm Michael 98145:

avarice is still a guiding principle in many lives
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:47pm Chris from DC:

Ha, I mean wrong speed piece of the day of course.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 7/29/16 2:47pm steve:

love it
Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:48pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Avatar Fri. 7/29/16 2:50pm Bryce:
