Yo, Jeff. Let's get heavy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:07am pacific standard simon:

Did Muddy ever meet any of the musicians backing him on this cut, do you think?
  Mon. 2/22/16 3:08am xrayman:

yes! You got it...
heavy MUD.
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:09am Jeff Conklin:

Morning, folks
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:10am Jeff Conklin:

@Simon: Doubtful and if he did he probably didn't have any kind words to say to them. Still. Pete Cosey crushes on that record.
  Mon. 2/22/16 3:13am xrayman:

i could see him ignoring everyone...
thanks Jeff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:13am pacific standard simon:

I've heard of The Legendary Christine Perfect Album, but never gotten around to finding out what it sounded like. Interesting. I liked her influence on Fleetwood Mac's Kiln House.
  Mon. 2/22/16 3:13am Eric Hat:

Morning Jeff
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:15am Jeff Conklin:

@Simon: It's a killer album. Between the 'Shack and the 'Mac

Welcome, xrayman.

Morning, Eric
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:19am pacific standard simon:

@JC - I'm looking it up. Now I'm wondering what the Danny Kirwan track is like. Kiln House really is one of my all-time favorite albums.
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:22am the Canterbury wood-elf:

Christine McVie lives a few miles from me in Wickhambreaux, but i've never (knowingly) seen her around. Never had much time for Fleetwood Mac but always liked her voice and her vibe. Will have to check out that album. Good morning Jeff and everyone...
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:23am Jeff Conklin:

Morning, Canterbury. It's worth checking out, so is FLEETWOOD MAC!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:24am pacific standard simon:

Aha! "Trees, Grass and Stones"!
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:28am weirdwolf:

Träd, Gräs, nice! Alaska tuning in...
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:29am the Canterbury wood-elf:

Nice to be here early enough to catch some of the skronk and fuzz (usually i just catch the last hour or so of folkie mellowness).
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:30am pacific standard simon:

Feels like Amon Duul II would fit in here nicely.
Avatar Mon. 2/22/16 3:31am Jeff Conklin:

Thanks for tuning in, WW

Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:37am pacific standard simon:

Ah yes, I was even listening for that. Sometimes a week is like an eternity for me. So much to process at work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 2/22/16 3:40am pacific standard simon:

Aside from the wool hat, your avatar looks strangely Elvis Costello-like.
