Evening, Sam!

That was one hell of a 70 years.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 9:05pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& a good %age of Mainstream Rockfans don't know his name...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 9:09pm northguineahills:

Man, there are so many juke djs, it's hard to keep up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 9:09pm Sam Segal:

Welcome, everyone. @Rev, even sadder are the members of the rock-intelligentsia who deny Motorhead's brilliance/subversiveness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 9:10pm northguineahills:

Lemmy's brilliance was the focus on the riff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 9:24pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

He represented/s an attitude & a lifestyle & an energy as much as Little Richard, Keith Richards, Townshend & Iggy.
  Mon. 12/28/15 9:50pm Dave:

I won't deny his brilliance but Death popularized the growling vocal
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 10:06pm northguineahills:

I dig saxes in No-Wave and classicalisms....
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 10:10pm Sam Segal:

Personally, I can't think of a genre that wouldn't be improved by more saxophones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 11:37pm northguineahills:

Sky Needle should team up w/ Space Needle, they don't sound too different.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 11:41pm Sam Segal:

Hmmmm...never heard Space Needle. Do they also make their own instruments? Cuz that's Sky Needle's shtick.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 12/28/15 11:59pm northguineahills:

Space Needle was (sometimes) a one man studio indie band, that hit different styles, usually fringey pop/noisey, other times more produced retroey. I believe they were on Zero Hour Recs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 12/29/15 12:00am Sam Segal:

Sounds splendid. I'll try to track em down. Thanks for hanging out tonight, @ngh.
