November 4, 2015: With WFMU's openness to reinterpretation and reinvention, nonmimetic representation promises to promote not an escape from reality, but, rather, a means of promoting and, indeed, ensuring flexibility in its application to each listener's human life.

1) All I can say is that I added just "WFMU" and "listener's" to the sentence I lifted from an art book written by a native speaker of Poppycock. Indeed! 2) Hi Vicki--great to see you and your film at Monty Hall--thank you for that!

Hi Irwin, privileged to be with you live today. So sorry to say I missed PLU's event at Monty after being struck down by a particularly nasty flu bug-- the only thing that could have kept me away. @Vicki (if you see this), I trust it was a smashing success, I'll be there next time for sure.

![]() This Mighty Sparrow track reminds me. It will soon be the season for Jingle Bell Rocks, Mitchell Kezin's tribute to off-mainstream holiday music, which climaxes with the Sparrow cutting a natty version of "The Little Boy that Santa Claus Forgot." A great picture for any denizen of the FMUniverse, at least for those who don't loathe Christmas music. |
