Listener comments!

  3:20pm Listener Robert:

I get into a strange condition of awareness on a humid but not too warm day like this. I awoke very early, so I tried napping during Mssrs. Burns & Jones's show. I dreamed I was sleeping in the same bldg. as them, and that they were each in different rooms, with a temporary wire between them. I dreamed I had awoken & drowsily started opening the door to where Mr. Jones was, but closed it when I "realized" where I was, so as not to disturb the show.
  3:25pm Listener Robert:

Then I dreamed I went back to bed, but not before playing in my bedroom w a crank-up couch of some sort that I broke by cranking beyond its range. In my bedroom there was what appeared to be a small dog sleeping on a shelf above my bed, so I reached up & pulled it down. It complained, whereupon I realized it was a small boy rather than a dog. It appeared he'd moved in out of necessity, and when I went into the next room I found it occupied by a pair of women & their children. I woke up before I was able to get the full story of why they were there. It was a very slow wake-up as I realized where I was really living & the actual layout of this place, as opposed to that in the dreams.
  3:34pm Listener Robert:

I must be hearing those lyrics funny -- "Who knows why we're gays?"
  3:53pm ?:

I'm sure that all makes sense in the context of you dream world, Robert!

I am broken by cranking beyond my range - which is how I obtain this sound...
  4:05pm Listener Robert:

At least my mishearing of the "Wildwood Days" refrain provided an opp'ty for an entry at Kiss This Guy.

"Cranking beyond my range" sounds like how I'll feel tomorrow if (when) I throw reason aside and go see Föllakzoid despite planning to see at least three other shows this week
  4:26pm marmalade kitty:

Do it, Fred!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm fred:

@MK: it's reason against music, so the only likely way I won't go is if it's sold out (it's a small venue)
  4:35pm marmalade kitty:

you can always sweet talk folks in small venues? slip them a drink :) works sometimes Human vs machine
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:36pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Hey, folks!
  4:36pm marmalade kitty:

between you and me ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm fred:

@MK: Sure, but I'm usually just happy that the show is sold out. It's good for everyone, and the musicians are more likely to come back. Win some, lose some, and I don't like crowds

Perfect music while driving on the coast in SWFlorida! Bringing the Jersey Shore to Vanderbilt Beach!
  4:43pm erik:

name of band just played: swinging who?
  4:46pm marmalade kitty:

In the larger venues, if the band isn't up to transporting me into space, it's no good!
  4:51pm did you mean?:

@erik
city surfers (frank gary, bobby darin, roger mcguinn) - did "beach ball" (1963)
  4:54pm erik:

yes, must be, thanks
  4:57pm erik:

actually no, was garage band just before the break.
Avatar 4:57pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Way Kewl - Thx BK.
  4:58pm Al:
