Good morning, Jeffrey, and hello, Planetoids.
  7:02am
Mark:

"My Favorite Girl" is on a King Creosote "best of" album called "Thrawn."

@Mark: had not heard this about JM.

LynnsBrother:

Hey Mark... great article. I didn't read anything about her friendship with Neil Young though?...
  8:00am
Mark:

Sem: Not to be disrespectful of her, because I love her and she's entitled to her privacy, but psychiatrists and other professionals say that this feeling of worms crawling out of your pores is symptomatic of meth addiction or cocaine psychosis. And we know she's no babe-in-the-woods when it comes to drugs. If that's true, perhaps a lengthy hospital stay will enable her to detox. If that's not the case, I hope she's able to get whatever help she needs, psychological or otherwise.
  8:01am
Mark:

@Lynnsbrother, I'm not sure what relevance her friendship with Neil Young would have in a story about her health crisis? Sorry, maybe I'm missing a connection you're making.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25am
LynnsBrother:

Well, I don't know, she is 72 yr old... Same age as when my mom passed, but maybe she'll live much longer...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28am
LynnsBrother:

@ Mark Have you read: The Emperor of All Maladies by Siddhartha Mukargee ?
  8:41am
Mike Sin:

Well, this was quite a great show to wake up to.

Ken From Hyde Park:

It is really weird to go outside to get the paper and find that it's not frigidly cold out there.
  8:49am
Mark:

@Lynnsbrother, No I haven't. I'm just passing along some things that medical professionals have said about that condition. I'm really not trying to diagnose her, because I have no idea. I'm just a big fan, and like a lot of people, I just hope she gets better. I lost my dad at 74, but that was almost 20 years ago, and in this day and age, with all the medical advances we have, 72 is not considered a long life any more.
  8:50am
Mark:

Yes, Ken, but a good kind of weird.

Sem Chumbo:

I'm with Mr. Sin. Once again Saturday morning is filled with wonderful music, mostly new to me. Thank you, Jeffrey and see you, and all, again next time.
