You're playing the soundtrack for an endless night of website QAing
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:01pm Doug Schulkind:

His name is You Know Who.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:02pm davex:

I'm listening on the archive, myself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:03pm Doug Schulkind:

My favorite bush? Yew.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:03pm davex:

Sorry, I really am a smart aleck.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:03pm Jesse K:

HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and welcome timetravelers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:04pm listener james from westwood:

Aw, poor Spock.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:05pm listener james from westwood:

@Gary, I'm applying XML tags to a book I just edited, so it's angle brackets for all of us.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:05pm Jesse K:

He doesn't need your pity and neither do I!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:08pm steve:

i find json to be much more ergonomic

Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:11pm davex:

Smart aleck or time traveler - or possibly both.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:13pm Jesse K:

I think probably go hand in hand
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:15pm bennett4senate:

Jesse is that halting funk bump track the beginning of your show or the end of Doug's? Feel like I heard the same thing last time but I don't think that's what Galactic Melt sounds like? Sorry for the IT q
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:19pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

> Thump ! X 4 <
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:19pm Jesse K:

Hi bennett! It's a little of both. I have a little intro that takes a bar of Doug's closing song and loops it mixed with waves and other sound effects
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:19pm Jesse K:

then it fades into Galactic Melt, which I talk over
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:20pm listener james from westwood:

Caesar's giving me second wind on this here coding frenzy!
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:23pm Bennett4Senate:

OK thx, I love the effect, but every time it makes me check my internet connection - which is cool - some songs make you dance, but it takes WFMU to make you check your reception
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:25pm Jesse K:

next level audience interaction: is that supposed to sound like that?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:29pm davex:

Press 1 if it sounds like it's supposed to be that way. Press 2 if not. Press 3 to be sarcastic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:34pm Gary:

Yay Sahel Sounds!
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:35pm Jesse K:

Is that supposed to sound like that?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:36pm Gary:

Since it DOES sound like that, the answer would always have to be Yes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:36pm Gary:

cf. Robert Creeley: "Is that a real poem or did you just make that up?"
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:37pm doca:

Hey, guys, what's up?
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:39pm Jesse K:

Hi doca! Hows it going?
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:41pm doca:

All fine, @Jesse K, and you?
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:43pm Jesse K:

Alls good here, awaiting another small storm tonight!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:47pm listener james from westwood:

It's said to be utterly shitty on NJ's highways. Parts of 80 don't even look plowed. This shit arrived right around the evening rush hour, but a friend of mine 2 towns away reported going about 1 mph on a treacherous suburban road.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:47pm doca:

Oh and we're in the midst of (I hope) the last heat wave of the season over here.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:49pm doca:

@Jesse K: Do you know the work of Ernesto Neto? I was looking at your sculptural work in your site and it reminded me of his stuff.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:50pm bennett4senate:

Jesse what's the sledding report in JP
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:53pm Jesse K:

@doca, I love him! Got to see a huge installation of his at the armory years ago, it was like a big dinosaur skeleton with gauzy layers of film and bright pigments everywhere
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 7:54pm Gary:

I can't believe I missed that Armory show :(
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 7:55pm Jesse K:

@bennett, it's the only way to get anywhere! There's lots of glacial parks in the neighborhood and some good bowls
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:00pm doca:

@Jesse K: Hahah his work is amazing. Here it says that that exhibition was called "Anthropodino", says a lot about the dinosaur skeleton stuff. Unfortunately I've never seen his work live
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:02pm Bennett4Senate:

Larz Anderson was my spot as a kid, then we also went to another spot near the Arboretum, Corey Hill maybe? good times
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:06pm Jesse K:

Ah, I didn't know you grew up around here! The sugar bowl near the pond is a big spot too
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 8:07pm Uncle Michael:

Good evening.

Welcome Uncle Michael! Glad to hear you're on the mend!

Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 8:30pm Gary:

Yes! Michael!
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:34pm still b/p:

A family report from the south shore just a few days ago said the clearing and shearing of the snowbanks is still TERRIBLE...roads are chutes with no visibility of traffic when coming off side streets. Speaking of MA, Brainticket sounds like a Cape neighborhood.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:37pm Bennett4Senate:

@still agreed, see also www.mcsweeneys.net...
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:41pm still b/p:

Ha. Good ones. Extra joke with Braintree inclusion.
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:56pm northguineahills:

Late to the party....
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:57pm Jesse K:

partys still bumpin
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:58pm Jesse K:

welcome any time!
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 8:59pm northguineahills:

We just go another 1-2" of snow and sleet, w/ the temp just a hair below freezing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 9:06pm Gary:

The synth action tonight has been off the charts
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 9:07pm Jesse K:

Snow's coming down here as well but it's supposed to become sleet. They say 1-3" total but can you trust them
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 9:10pm Jesse K:

thanks Gary!
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 9:14pm Jesse K:

I'll say that thanks on behalf of the synthesizers
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 9:38pm still b/p:

Trust, but vilify.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 9:47pm Uncle Michael:

I like this music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 9:47pm Gary:

Such the guitar
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 9:58pm Jesse K:

We're full circle on this show now
Avatar Tue. 3/3/15 10:02pm northguineahills:

Thanks Jesse!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 10:04pm Uncle Michael:

Thanks, Jesse.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 3/3/15 10:05pm Gary:
