Good morning Bob and fellow Brainiacs.
Avatar 9:06am SmokinJ:

Mornin' bb & group. Now I'll be humming Breakaway to myself all day ;-)
  9:07am Michael Hurlbert:

Features a nice vocal volley between Carl Wilson & Al Jardine
Avatar 9:13am Reverend Fox:

Awesome Monk tune!
Avatar 9:17am Reverend Fox:

Who dis? Never heard them before. Tasty little tune!
Avatar 9:21am purpleknif:

Music to watch the snow by.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25am Glenn L:

Waltz for a pig! Think the title was a stab at Shel Talmy.
  9:25am William:

So this is the infamous Waltz for a Pig.
  9:34am William:

Not the Who. Graham Bond Organisation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36am Glenn L:

What William said.
Avatar 9:40am SmokinJ:

LOVE Butter!
Avatar 9:40am Bob Brainen:

meaning-no Who involvement whatsoever?!?!?
  9:42am William:

None Bob. Contractual weirdness with Shel Talmy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43am Glenn L:

Correct, BB, released under the Who's name only. Contract dispute fallout w/Talmy. Would love to know the lineup of the GBO for this. Ginger Baker on drums, maybe??
  9:45am William:

Yes Glenn. Usual line-up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46am Glenn L:

Thanks, William! Didn't know there was a usual.
  9:47am William:

Meaning Bond, Bruce, Baker and Dick Heckstall-Smith.
  9:49am mrmucho:

Hi Bob, enjoying the show as usual. What a great Burritos tune from that neglected second LP.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52am Glenn L:

@William. Gotcha. Not as familiar w/the GBO personnel as I'd like to be.
  9:59am Josh Norton:

Missing P. J. O'Connell from the playlist at the moment?
  9:59am mrmucho:

This is Terry on lead vocals, right?
  10:10am Mark:

Loved that Butterfield track you played. In the 80s, I was working at a record store in Michigan, and David Sanborn was in signing his latest cheesy album. On his way out, I said to him, "You're on this Paul Butterfield album I have." He said, "Oh, yeah--what was the name of that record again?" I said, "'The Resurrection of Pigboy Crabshaw.'" And he smiled this big smile as it all came back to him. "Yeah! That's right!"
  10:27am Stuart rose:

Nice reminiscence, Mark. Sanborn still had some sense memory of when he played real music.

Bob- thanks for margot guryan. Her songs have this casually spiritual and sexy vibe.
  10:32am Moe:

Where Eric lifted his licks...
🥁 10:39am David in ATL from NJ:

Wow, this is nice. These guys never cease to amaze.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44am Greg from Bloomfield:

Ooh I love this!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:58am Sem Chumbo:

Can count of FMU for my fix of the Captain. Thanks, Bob, was jones-ing hard!
  7:03am grape:

David Earle Johnston blew my mind - thanks
