A pleasure to be tuning in live, makes Saturday morning that much better.
Avatar 6:38am
Sem Chumbo:

Loving your choices this morning, Jeffrey, easing me into a hectic Saturday gently, calmly, sweetly.
  6:50am
Cooh John:

Good morning all. It is wet over in my section of the planet. The music adds to the ambience.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56am
the Canterbury wood-elf:

@CJ Very wet here in C'bury too, i know what you mean...

How do I come by that moniker?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:04am

Bom dia, @Guido, bom dia to the rest of all I didn't greet before. That'a good nickname. But 2015 is starting with some big revelations, even Bryce was late to his show yesterday.

Sem Chumbo:

Good day, BriainUK. Corking day here, old trout. Thither?

Avatar 7:35am
Sem Chumbo:

@TDK60: that nog qualifies as a blast from the past:-)
@RevRab: staying warm?
Avatar 7:47am
TDK60:

Never heard of any of these artists, and it's alright.

- So far Sem - freezing rain on the way if my attention span gets the gist of the always too long New England weather report...
- quite TDK60 !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:59am
the Canterbury wood-elf:

@TDK60 Likewise (the only artist I'd heard of before was No Neck Blues Band). But a wonderful show so far, perfect for this rainy morning. A shame I have to go now. Thanks Jeffrey!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11am
Brian in UK:

@Sem it is a day for watching old black & white films, like The Third Man or some Marx Brothers fol de rol.

It is the label names that get to me.

There is a John Stewart song, think it is Durango with the line 'Well I never heard from old Peckinpah I guess he forgot to call' So I wonder if he was on a promise in the Pat Garrett film.
  8:12am
clarke:

still sunny on olde cape cod - for now. i guess it's a'comin'.
since i am never even semi-conscious during most of your show, usually, i will take this opp to thank The Swan for making saturday mornings NEARLY as special as when i used to enjoy waking up for CARTOONS! i really appreciate the folky mornings!! also, never would have known about Green Pajamas solo records if it wasn't for this show! and i am a huge Green Pajamas fan!
Avatar 8:16am
TDK60:

I must admit not preferring band names that sound like album titles (like Accident...) but it doesn't keep me up at night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25am
Brian in UK:

@TDK60 the word eponymous seems like a music critics way of being lazy like the word ecletic.
Avatar 8:30am
Sem Chumbo:

Excellent @Brian: Third Man bears re-watching, a personal fave.
And, yes, about *eponymous*. Hemingway, amongst others said, and I paraphrase:"... the old, short words are the best. Now, pass the Papa Doble, pronto."
  8:34am
Stuart:

I think we're all resigned to not knowing many of the artists Jeffrey plays. But what taste he has. the first set he plays in the pre-dawn(or the rain, for some of you) always does a soul right.
Avatar 8:36am
TDK60:

Agreed, Stuart.
Avatar 8:36am
Sem Chumbo:

@Stuart: my sentiments exactly, well said.
Though not resigned, for me, but enthralled.
Avatar 8:52am
TDK60:

My ears are still open, taking in new sounds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55am
Brian in UK:

There is a need that has to be fulfilled for a few to be famous. The rest can get on with their business.
  8:57am
Sam:

Oh this is so great. Is she Acadian? Like from New Brunswick, Canada? I was driving around up there and all the music on the radio was like this, with that wonderful accent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57am
Brian in UK:

Adios amigos
Avatar 8:57am
Sem Chumbo:

Another pithy insight.
Pip,pip, Brian, off now to restore the tissues. Have a lovely day.
Thanks, Jeffrey, see you next time.
