Is this where the saying comes from?

War songs were so jaunty back then.

Interesting show, listening in Sydney lunchtime wednesday. Listened before on EVR. Greatly miss EVR. Must get my dad onto the show, he's 82, he'll love it. He's a big fan of Robeson and Django Reinhardt.

“Over there! Over there! I saw corpse… Of my pal… over there! Walked through mud… That… Was mixed with blood… Now, I sometimes wake up & scream to just stare, stare, stare!”
  Tue. 11/11/14 8:31pm Handel:

So? I don't get it. Did you change your name to Mike the barber and is the antique record program dead or is 'barber' the new incantation? confused?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 11/11/14 8:32pm JakeGould:

Hanel, two different people. Mike the Barber plays records. Mac will play anything that spins & makes sounds. Which is cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 11/11/14 8:33pm Mike East:

Mike dad always used to sing "Its time to get up, its time to get up, its time to get up in the morning" to wake us up for school
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 11/11/14 8:35pm Mike East:

*My dad, not Mike. I'm Mike. And so is the DJ.
  Tue. 11/11/14 8:42pm Handel:

Thank you JakeGould. Both hosts are good but I miss Mac's charm.
