You get a kind of "family affair" in the rock-pop of The Grip Weeds. Kurt and Rkisten are married, Rick and Kurt are brothers, and I guess that makes Dennis and honorary brother. As the Highland Park, NJ-based band describes it, "The Grip Weeds are a band with a mission: to aspire to the artistic heights reached by the classic bands of rock's golden age while achieving originality and an urgency suited to the new millennium. In short, this is a band which refuses to give up on the dream that rock music can still be great and compelling. They rocks on for nearly two hours-- I just couldn't (and wouldn't) stop 'em!
