haha Cecile! I thought Marvel blew it by not putting make up on that great face for his Green Goblin role! Would have been perfect!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/9/14 5:02pm Cecile:

I know! And you know Dafoe would be down for it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/9/14 5:03pm Cecile:

Unless he was allergic to the makeup, in which case Dafoe was right to refuse. Because he can do very little wrong.
  Thu. 10/9/14 5:03pm wilbur twinhorse:

Criterion Collection just released a Blu-ray edition of ERASERHEAD, with early films before it.

Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/9/14 5:06pm Cecile:

The Milwaukee Journal in the 70s used to be funny. Everyone who had even the slightest connection to the city was a "former Milwaukeean" in the paper.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/9/14 5:06pm Cecile:

oooh, thanks AW
Avatar    Thu. 10/9/14 5:07pm V Priceless:

agreed. I suspect the studio just got lazy and took the easy way out. I've seen out-take footage of someone (not DaFoe) in actual latex make-up (that was rejected) screen-testing facial expressions, and it looks freakin' awesome.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 10/9/14 5:08pm Andrew Waterloo:

Yah, wish I could take advantage of this one. But, I guess my consolation prize is a plane ticket to Venice.
  Thu. 10/9/14 5:10pm iris:

Avatar    Thu. 10/9/14 5:24pm ironybread:

Thank you to the Strength And/Or Failure Network for reminding me that, like Achim Reichel, I need to get an effects/delay pedal, do some vocal improvs, and just goddamn well make something. I think that secretly Fabio played that track specifically as a result of my recent pledge. WFMU - More Epiphanies Per Pledge Dollar Than Any Other Streaming Radio Station.

wow LSD march is great!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/9/14 5:32pm Cecile:

I really don't want the Dept of Homeland Security job (b/c it doesn't pay well, and it's in Albany, but I can't be picky), but damn, an 8 page background questionnaire! I hope I get the DEP job here in Queens, b/c it pays well, and I won't have to deal w/ this bs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/9/14 5:48pm Cecile:
