The Brits eat fish for breakfast, like Kippers (as in "the day my father fell of the yacht we were eating kippers and I tell you it made ALL the difference")
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 9/27/14 3:28am mauri:

An immigrant chef who was at the local festival was give a flat. He had nothing else but a bed and a carpet. My friend phoned about it. So we collected all furniture and what we could find from everyone and went there to make his flat more like home. We took the fishes too and then he fried them for us.

Must have been one of their first appearances under the Kraftwerk moniker.

Good Morning E12!
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 4:56am Bill Mac:

@Sem Hey Man, I'll be glad to play Azalia on future shows.
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 4:56am Sem Chumbo:

Early morning @ a Cape Breton after-hours place I know sounded just like that Pogues thing, with the sounds of moonshine-filled Mason jars shattering added. Shane would not be out of place there.
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 4:57am Looms:

Lots of French people think that the Pogues are a gentle "Irish ballad band". This damned barrier language, you know... Thx!
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 4:57am Sem Chumbo:

re: Azalia. would love that, B.M..
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 4:59am Bill Mac:

That would be worth hearing. That's a standout track omn Red Roses. I forgot about the screaming section at the end of "dead men'. made me laff a bit.
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 4:59am Bill Mac:

I bought that on the strength of the opening track. The rest is pretty great.
Avatar Sat. 9/27/14 5:02am Looms:

I guess that everyone understood that I meant "language barrier" ;(
