  Sat. 9/20/14 9:14am Tom P.:

Bobby! Wasn't that "Rinky-Dink" tune featured in "Dirty Dancin'" with lyrics? Educate me, Brother!
  Sat. 9/20/14 9:16am Tom P.:

Hmmm. A dark and turbulent tone to the show thus far.
  Sat. 9/20/14 9:29am Tom P.:

Avatar Sat. 9/20/14 10:13am Dave Mandl:

Definitely sounds like a harpsichord, Bob.
Avatar    Sat. 9/20/14 10:14am Yair Yona:

it's a harpsichord indeed
  Sat. 9/20/14 10:15am mike east:

Love barbarella sndtrk too. Did Not realize it was bob crewe...kinda just blew my mind
Avatar    Sat. 9/20/14 10:18am Guido from Cologne:

dunno ... there was a harsichord involved.
But the intro sonded more like hammered strings -hammered dulcimer or old fortepiano maybe?
but i'm not famiiar enough.
  Sat. 9/20/14 10:18am scott:

I think that it is an electric harpsichord, as opposed to an amplified acoustic harpsichord. The strings are hammered, not plucked.
Avatar    Sat. 9/20/14 10:20am Guido from Cologne:

... it is debatable if the mono works better ... but interesting to hear.
Avatar    Sat. 9/20/14 10:22am Guido from Cologne:

... well sandy denny is credidet with harpsichord.
  Sat. 9/20/14 10:23am scott:

when I hear Icarus, I think of Pete Fornatale when on FUV. When I think of Pete Fornatale, I recall the time he asked a very much younger guest artist out. Sorta. I filled the dead air with giggles
