Heya V!

Does the early worm get the bird?

one can only hope!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:01pm listener james from westwood:

somehow I just knew I couldn't count on these guys when it came to destruction.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:04pm DCE:

Tony's doing what he can...it's gonna be alright!

Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:07pm Rich in Washington:

i had no idea about that Spy/Rhino sanitized comp. Wonderful!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:08pm Tony Coulter:

It's co-compiled by Irwin Chusid
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:08pm Rich in Washington:

I've got quite a lot of Beatles/60s stuff done Easy Listening style. SOme of it pretty hilarious.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:09pm Rich in Washington:

Of course! Who else?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:16pm Rich in Washington:

I'm guessing this isn't a Graettinger composition?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:17pm Rich in Washington:

Pete Ruggalo. I looked it up.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:18pm Tony Coulter:

Even some of the non-Graettinger stuff is pretty interesting, I've always felt. I even suspect Kenton was an influence on Sun Ra.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:20pm listener james from westwood:

Good to hear Durutti Column!
  Tue. 7/1/14 12:24pm Dean:

That shredding fists-up version of Revolution by the B4 reminds me of Waldo de los Rios' little night music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xCekcOUn6A
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:28pm Tony Coulter:

Hey ho, Dean!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:32pm DCE:

ooh it really bothers me the way they're singing this, speeding up the words...
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:32pm Tony Coulter:

This Sunset Love tarck is, of course, a Cream cover
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:33pm Tony Coulter:

tarck = track!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:34pm Rich in Washington:

Heya, βrian! Waving, not drowning?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:41pm Tony Coulter:

Greetings, Mayuko! Glad you could make it!!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:43pm Tony Coulter:

Heya, Uncle M! Somehow missed seeing that big yellow head of yours.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:45pm Tony Coulter:

As I said, this Pseudo Code CD (not tape, despite the label name) features recordings from 1980–81.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:46pm βrian:

Not drowning yet.
Can I play this to the neighbor's toddler, btw?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:46pm βrian:

First I'll put on my killer clown makeup.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:49pm Tony Coulter:

So many killer clowns -- so few clown killers.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:50pm listener james from westwood:

βrian, I won an award by doing that one Halloween. At least I think it was Halloween....
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:54pm βrian:

@James. Now, did that go on the resume?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:57pm βrian:

Which reminds me, where's Cheri Pi?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 12:59pm holland oats:

Hiya, Holland Oats!

GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:08pm βrian:

Ah, the profane years. Nothing like 'em. Here's to you, Al.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:08pm listener james from westwood:

βrian: No, but I did submit a picture of me in the outfit when an employer asked for some "fun" pictures of the team. It was politely declined. (Likely it was the chainsaw I was holding.)
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:10pm listener james from westwood:

An Al Green/Curtis 1-2 punch? Sign me up!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:18pm still b/p:

Good afternoon. My name is still b/p....and I'm a jinx!
At my former and defunct workplace, I wanted to check an old computer for some personal stuff. With the former boss on hand this morning, at the moment of plug-in, the machine said KKZAAPPPP!! So we left it alone. And unplugged.

He just called me at home to report that the building's large studio space -- not the room the computer is in -- is now filled with smoke and acrid stink. He ain't sure whassup or where in the walls and elec. system something's shorted or smoldering. Awaiting update. Don't let me in your home.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:18pm Tony Coulter:

... followed by the world's first segue from Machito to David Rosenboom....
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:20pm DCE:

get away from comment board, still b/p, before we all smell like smoke and acrid stink...well, it may be too late for most of us
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:21pm Tony Coulter:

Greetings, still b/p. Wait -- my computer IS making funny noises!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:23pm still b/p:

Saying that you're SAS could mean you're with British special forces or you're with FMU commenters.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:28pm βrian:

My stomach is rumbling. I feel felafel.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:31pm listener james from westwood:

Yikes! Sounds frightful, still b/p. My work computer caught fire last Nov. 1. Smelled something odd, went outside, ascertained it wasn't some sort of construction or car fire, then came inside in time to see SMOKE puffing from the back of the box. Unplugged, put on fans, and hoped I'd gotten a clean backup the previous day. (I had.)
  Tue. 7/1/14 1:31pm Dean:

WHY-nent is how I've heard it.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:35pm Tony Coulter:

Thanks, Dean!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:35pm βrian:

But, why stone ground?
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:40pm DCE:

rockin!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:41pm fleep:

[Joins today's episode of "Halt and Catch Fire," already in progress.] Caravan!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:43pm Tony Coulter:

Hola, fleep! Your gif is dancing!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:43pm listener james from westwood:

For a sec I thought these might have been the Komedian Harmonists, but equally pleased to meet the Millses!
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:44pm holland oats:

quelle heure est il? il est fifa
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:45pm still b/p:

That...that version of Caravan I'd like to do sometime. Someone's larynx or trousers would probably start a'smolderin', though.
Avatar Tue. 7/1/14 1:48pm holland oats:

this song makes me nervous
  Tue. 7/1/14 1:49pm MrFab:

"Spazz"! I've long maintained that this is the first New Wave record.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Tue. 7/1/14 1:49pm steve:
