NN, Big brass intro to you, too!
  12:20am
Nick Name:

Hi Droll!
  12:25am
P-90:

Hail DJ Nick Name
@ Droll: Hello to you too, nothing like a big bass intro to get the blood flowing and the momentum going
- though The Spazzmeister always leaves behind a fair portion of momentum. And blood.
Avatar 12:27am
Droll:

Brass, not bass! You don't want to get me started about bass.
  12:27am
P-90:

that's [big bRass intro] dammit
  12:34am
P-90:

Soooooo...
Seems like some folks are saying that "sex kills".
Is it the sex itself, or does someone have to squeeze the trigger?
Just askin
Avatar 12:36am
Droll:

To paraphrase the chain email my dad sends me, "I left sex on my front porch all day and it didn't kill anyone".

hi P-90

Droll:

I'm glad Icecross is back already! I've never heard of them before and they're all psyche-progged out! Apparently Björgvin Gíslason played on this album and went on to play on Bjork's self-titled debut. Very rich Icelandic scene!
  1:01am
P-90:

@ Droll: That's one country I still have not visited, but I will.
It's too ecologically and culturally fascinating to miss.

"The CUNooTs"?
  1:08am
Nick Name:

@ P-90 ha ha , yeh sounds similar , but there was a big difference : Knut
  1:14am
P-90:

gotta love Stravinsky, often one of the first composers a young lad takes to heart --- and a major inspiration of the original Prog scene
Avatar 1:17am
Droll:

Stravinsky is my hero because he wrote music that incited a riot because people's notion of music was so severely offended!
  1:22am
P-90:

...yet now he's considered an "easy","accessible" composer, they give his stuff to kids to get them started on orchestral music...
...and if there was a literal riot after the premiere of "Rite of Spring", imagine what they would have thought of Sudden Infant or Period...
  1:23am
P-90:

...or Sonny Rollins, for that matter
  1:32am
Pete L in Columbus Ohio:

weird- I was just listening to "Newks Time" --brilliant
  1:52am
Nick Name:

hi Pete L in Columbus Ohio - That is aslo on this mega 7 album CD
  1:56am
Pete L in Columbus Ohio:

  1:59am
Nick Name:

Thx Pete - thx for commenting / checking in.
FYI - I'm actually away for the next two weeks , but will be back after that, same time same place
Avatar 2:02am
Finbar:

Yeah, Ginger Baker is always nice to hear. Right on...
Avatar 2:02am
Droll:

Yes, thanks for the twofer Baker. And what's this about no NN for two weeks? I hope your fill-in is also a closet progger.
  2:04am
P-90:

G@DJ N.N.; good news that you're staying in this slot, your show fits real well here.
  2:06am
P-90:

@ Droll: you never know, the filler-inner might be an "out" progger
Avatar 2:07am
Droll:

Mandl's filling in?! Awesome!
  2:09am
P-90:

?Mandl? both weeks? that'll be a real party
  2:16am
P-90:

includes "unlimited rear entry"?!
  3:02am
Nick Name:

thx all - see you in 3 weeks - all the best
Avatar 7:02pm
Droll:

Howdy NN, great show closer, but I was too tired to make it to the end when it aired. The K Leimer reminded me of Lubomyr Melnyk, lovely stuff.

Have a good break/trip, and we'll "see" you when you get back!
