Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

EGGS
  Fri. 5/23/14 1:13pm Dean:

Just the opposite. My spouse request half a dozen boiled eggs to take to work (one at a time, of course). When she returns home, it's "The egg was yummy!" Bring water to boil, leave them for 15 minutes, then immerse in ice until they cool.

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 5/23/14 1:19pm Uncle Michael:

Avatar Fri. 5/23/14 1:21pm northguineahills:

I usually just put the boiled eggs in a ice bath and then run cold water on them as I take the shell off, come off easy peasy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 5/23/14 1:22pm Uncle Michael:

Our eggs have been putting up a fight for years. Damned free range organic eggs!

Avatar Fri. 5/23/14 1:34pm northguineahills:

I steam my eggs when I poach them.
  Fri. 5/23/14 1:35pm Dean:

Shells are porous. Makes sense that steam would permeate them and create a buffer between shell and white.
