The fashion world wants to know: how fancy are Mr. Fancypants' pants this evening??
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 8:14pm JakeGould:

My fanciest pants have a slight hole near the crotch that I need to mend. And they are nice jeans that I like.
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 8:14pm Innner Ear Detour:

Tonight's trousers: Green floral pattern (trying to raise the green tonight....)
  Sun. 2/23/14 8:15pm Melissa C.:

Nice forest.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 8:43pm cklequ:

I'm flustered.... Some joker adopted the WFMU sewer system before the marathon even started. I've adopted that adorable little series of tubes for three years straight. What the hell am i supposed to do now.... adopt a DJ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 8:43pm fleep:

Be sure he gets all his shots.
  Sun. 2/23/14 8:49pm LovecraftDude888:

she's on he way to that beautiful lounge suite!
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 8:50pm JakeGould:

cklequ, adopt the dumpster. It’s like a surface sewer for solid waste.
  Sun. 2/23/14 8:51pm Jack M.:

go get 'em, dr. blumin!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 8:52pm fleep:

The very Listener comment board upon which we type is up for adoption, but it isn't really an object and I'm not sure how you put a plaque on it. But you wouldn't have to dust it.
  Sun. 2/23/14 8:53pm LovecraftDude888:

no Lemon Pledge required
  Sun. 2/23/14 8:53pm r i s k y:

Any other listeners out there hearing and high pitched tone when Daniel is on mic/off?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 8:53pm cklequ:

Thanks, Jake. I suppose that's the next best thing. I'll have to talk to somebody about carrying over this swag for life thing into an adoption for life thing. I'm already missing that sewer.
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 8:54pm JakeGould:

The sewer just backed up a river of tears. Sorry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 8:54pm Daniel Blumin:

Risky, is it the wolf eyes?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 8:56pm fleep:

@cklequ You sound like Ed Norton from The Honeymooners.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 9:02pm Ken From Hyde Park:

TV is showing the Olympic closing ceremonies. I recognize the song they're playing is DJ Keili's opener. I forget the name of it, though.
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:06pm Carmichael:

Hey, this dude's singing in a different language!
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:07pm jeg:

Great*** transition Merci Dj
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:07pm Mary Wing:

Ken, you mean this?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 9:14pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Mary - Yep, Duck Sauce was it. I didn't hear the announcer yell out "Keili Hamilton, why you beastin'?" which would've made my night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 9:16pm davex:

Or maybe this: www.youtube.com...
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:16pm r i s k y:

Daniel, no it wasn't the wolf eyes.
I don't hear it now on my phone.
I'll chime in after I listen on my laptop
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:19pm LovecraftDude888:

  Sun. 2/23/14 9:22pm r i s k y:

Daniel, sounds better. Rock the hell on!
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:26pm LovecraftDude888:

Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:28pm JakeGould:

Awesome show! More Médico Doktor Vibes, please!
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:43pm JakeGould:

All this people thinking people look like other people: Was eating at a Vietnamese sandwich shop yesterday. Painfully tedious Park Slope couple in their 50s or 60s is yammering B.S. about Phillip Seymour Hoffman passing away. They are so painful it’s like they were a “Portlandia” parody. So anyway, they get up to leave & the lady looks at me. She throws out her stuff & then says, “I really like your work!” And then leaves. What work does she like that I supposedly did but didn’t do? What ponces! Probably some literary critic couple. Argh!

  Sun. 2/23/14 9:47pm LovecraftDude888:

They thought you were Jake Logan, author of terrible western romance novels?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 9:47pm cklequ:

Sounds like an amazing premium so far,, , ,, ,, ,,, ,
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:48pm JakeGould:

I was wearing my Detroit Tiger’s baseball cap, so they probably through I was Thomas Magnum of “Magnum P.I.” fame.
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:49pm JakeGould:

Thomas Magnum lived in the guest house at the invitation of its owner, Robin Masters, the celebrated-but-never-seen author of several dozen lurid novels. Yeah, I wrote lurid novels.
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:51pm JakeGould:

Gerard Manley Hopkins “His experimental explorations in prosody (especially sprung rhythm) and his use of imagery established him as a daring innovator in a period of largely traditional verse.” How Manley.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 9:51pm Ike:

@Risky, you mean the supersonic hamster wheel noise at 91.1? I've heard it all day. It's the backup transmitter. Ack. I may listen 100% online to avoid it until it's fixed.
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:51pm Carmichael:

Jake, they thought you were Tom Sharpling.

these guys are frauds. Rush uses hidden musicians and recorded bits for their shows.

Oh Christ ...

Oh wow. Tom Sawyer.

Holy crap.... You never know what you're going to hear on this station.
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:54pm Droll:

Bringing out the Big Guns so early, Blumin?
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:54pm JakeGould:

Rush is great! But they stopped being great around “Grace Under Pressure.”
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:54pm ledzeppelinsucks:

Seattle Center Coliseum 1986 I saw Rush had a hidden keyboard player behind the Stage
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:56pm ledzeppelinsucks:

the guy with the big nose and long hair was pretending to play bass, keyboards and 'sing' while the guy on multiple keyboards was in the hidden sweatshop
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:57pm Droll:

Jake, Don't be so hasty. Over the next 20 years they managed to knock out a few more good songs. Nothing 17 minutes long, but Rush was never about making the same record over and over.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 2/23/14 9:57pm i k e:

Phone room is so quiet! Virtually every pledge over the net....
  Sun. 2/23/14 9:58pm Carmichael:

Ike, are you volunteering? Way to go!
Avatar Sun. 2/23/14 9:59pm JakeGould:

“Jake, Don't be so hasty. Over the next 20 years…” Nope. Don’t care. 1987 is when I cared less about them to nil.
  Sun. 2/23/14 10:00pm LovecraftDude888:

I liked them then bought Power Windows and it was not great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 2/24/14 2:28am Daniel Blumin:
