Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 11:58am Carmichael:

Hey there, Jeffs. Time to wind the Victrola.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:03pm Doug Schulkind:

Life is Gore?
Life is Goop?
Life is Gone?
Life is Goat?
Life is Gorp?
Life is GoGo?

Please move that couch!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:05pm fred:

Good afternoon Jeffs and non-Jeffs
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:09pm Jeff Golick:

Hi Carmichael! No need to get wound up.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:09pm Brian in UK:

Hello folks.

Doug. GOO?
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:10pm Jeff Golick:

Good afternoon, fred! Welcome to you and the rest of the frederation.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:10pm Jeff Golick:

Hullo, Brian in UK! How goes?
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:11pm Jeff Golick:

@Doug: All I know is, it's a metaphor. And I'm the dog.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:12pm Brian in UK:

Sad to say Jeff, feels like a Friday on a Monday.
What happened to the metathree have they split?
  Mon. 11/25/13 12:13pm earrie:

Dog's got a good steady calm going on, there.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:14pm Brian in UK:

This music is perfect. Thanks.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:14pm Jeff Golick:

Yeah, earrie! Hiya. I dig the dog's side-eye.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:15pm Brian in UK:

Is Spyboy a New Orleans thing?
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:16pm Doug Schulkind:

@Brian
Yes, goo. Definitely.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:17pm Jeff Golick:

@Brian: Spy Boy hail from your neck of the world -- buncha Brit hornmen, about whom I know little. Tom Challenger the only name I (barely) recognized.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:18pm Jeff Golick:

Also, @Brian: metathree? I no know.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:19pm Carmichael:

Yep it is, Brian. All NO Indian tribes have Spy Boys, Flag Boys, Big Chiefs, and lots of Indians. The Neville Brothers come from a long line of Wild Tchoupitoulas, for instance.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:21pm Doug Schulkind:

These days, your Tchoupitoulas must not only be wild, but certified organic.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:22pm Carmichael:

And free range.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:24pm Jeff Golick:

Ah, you'll have to pardon me: I can tell I'm going to be a step or two behind today. I'm going to blame it on cold hands.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:29pm Brian in UK:

Carmichael, love the picture looks like Dave Vanian.
  Mon. 11/25/13 12:32pm earrie:

It's Count Floyd of Monster Chiller Horror Theatre. Aka Joe Flaherty.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:37pm Carmichael:

And it's SCARY, kids! Ow WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:37pm Brian in UK:

Being a phlebotomist I can relate to it as you might well imagine.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:38pm Brian in UK:

Jeff, some Sun Ra 45s perchance.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:41pm Jeff Golick:

@Brian: good call!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:55pm Uncle Michael:

Implacable dog.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:57pm Uncle Michael:

Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 12:57pm Jeff Golick:

Howdy, Uncle Michael!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 1:23pm Brian in UK:

The dog has got a hooter like a pig.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 1:27pm Carmichael:

Gypsy Jazz, sort of. Clicky-star!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:02pm holland oats:

drop something, borbetomagus?
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:04pm Jeff Golick:

Hey, it's holland oats! Hi there.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:05pm Jeff Golick:

This one goes out to Brian in UK.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:06pm Jeff Golick:

This one, too.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:21pm Brian in UK:

Thanks, Jeff. Listening thru Nokia 800 whilst prepping dinner. This is not product placement!!!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:24pm Doug Schulkind:

In nearly 34 years of playing jazz on the radio, I'm pretty sure I've never once played Borgetomagus. I suck.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:32pm Jeff Golick:

Yes, Doug, because that is the only measure.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:38pm Brian in UK:

I am freezing my nuts off over here too Jeff. Cannot get warm today but you are putting on a great show to sidetrack me. Au revoir.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:41pm Jeff Golick:

My pleasure, Brian! Take care and keep warm.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:44pm northguineahills:

Hadn't listened to Irene in awhile, thought I give her sounds some time.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:46pm Jeff Golick:

Totally understandable, @northguineahills. How goes?
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:52pm northguineahills:

All good. The gf plied me w/ food and drink to keep me away from the record fair (like Marge attempted to keep Homer away from Octoberfest), b/c I should spend my money in a more responsible manner.
  Mon. 11/25/13 2:55pm earrie:

Scat, robot. Ha!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 2:57pm Jeff Golick:

@ngh: sounds like a keeper.

@earrie: Yeah, we don't want no robots 'round here.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 3:02pm Jeff Golick:

BORBETOMAGUS & FRIENDS: ninegreychairs.blogspot.com...
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 3:03pm northguineahills:

I did make some awesome gluevein yesterday. All of my T-giving practice runs were a success. Now I'm ready (first year not hitting the parents, as a sibling of mine is getting married in 3 weeks).
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 3:03pm Doug Schulkind:

Are you taunting me? You are taunting me.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 3:04pm Uncle Michael:

Thanks for the music, Jeff. Much appreciated.
  Mon. 11/25/13 3:07pm earrie:

Thanks giving.
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 3:08pm Jeff Golick:

Thanks for coming by, Uncle Michael!
Avatar Mon. 11/25/13 3:08pm Jeff Golick:

Thanks, too, to you @earrie!
